I think the psychological side will be really interesting. They can open up all sorts of establishments but will people visit. Strange that Carnival Cruise Lines plans to sail in August. That's one industry I will avoid for a long long time.

I would never run because of my history in this hobby. How do you think the public and press would react when some SP I've seen over the years who doesn't agree with my politics outs me? People are not open minded about the hobby at all.
I'd react about like this, "Yep, I saw her and possibly hundreds more - frankly I've lost track decades ago. Treated them all nice, made them cum, etc. I'll probably suggest decriminalizing the entire trade, just keep the kids and pimps out of it. Can we talk about something important now, like fast tracking some pipelines to get the economy rolling?"

Well, I have some good news. My neighbour informed me that the neighbourhood Starbucks is up and running, albeit with social distancing measures in place. Looking forward to returning to my old routine and my morning Starbucks run!

I will stay on the topic that I started.
For our work, things started to slow down around March 01. After around March 15th it really started to go down suddenly. Business volume after March 15th at my work dropped TO 10 - 15 % of previous time. Overall in March it was down to about 50% of previous month.
They have slowly started to go up, especially after around Apr 15th it is up to about quarter. But overall in April it was lower than March. We had to cut down our staff to around 40$. I guess my point is that March 15th to around April 15th, things were down but we are seeing slow but steady improvement.
Also, traffic on the roads is certainly higher and around parking lots as well.

Like any feedback loop, there is an upset in the process that changes the output (setpoint). Systems in place can take you back. Depends on whether it is proportional, integral or derivative. A proportional response will take you close to the set point but won't put it back there. An integral response will bring you back to the set point in time... An derivative response bring you back to set point within a set time limit. Social upsets are not like a feedback loop in a control process (for industrial processes), but can give you some idea of whats required (like an analogy).
So things won't go back to normal, but will turn and change into a new normal.
Today things are based and made on the fact of the least expensive way to make something, or designed to last only 4 to 20 years. This is the renewable economy that is prevalent in our western society. An example is a car part is designed to last 7 years and then you have to replace it; or buy a new car (which cost more). An table-saw motor made in the 1950s (although not as efficient as today's motors), will last you 50-70 years (a lifetime) compared to 7- 10 year now. The reality that anything manufactured today is crap and won't last a long time. Which is why we have such a garbage issue on recycling of materials today.
The federal and provincial debts will increase, so will our taxes and sales tax too (after the economy gets going again). The good thing in Canada is a wealthy country with alot of resources that can cover the expenses that our country has incurred during the panedemic. Maybe tax the 1% ters when they die. After all aren't we a society that believes in working for what we achieve; you can assume they will give back after they die..... the premise for this is take from the rich and give to the poor....
As for the care homes, even the government run ones don't give 100% care for the elderly. As for the profit motivated care home (privately owned), they cut as much as they possibly can. You can see this by the lack of PPE that was afforded to their employees, short staff and the care of persons in their care. Also these private care facilities usually overturn the staff to avoid any kind of extra payments to the workers. At min wage they are not the best trained persons to look after your family elders. Look to see more regualtion or more government care facilities in the future.
As for ventilation systems (in cruise ships and forced air systems (furnaces) in you house for heating), most are rectangular, not round. These ventilation casings need to be cleaned as they will build up on dust. Most machines to remove and clean these system use a rotary tool that goes round and round.... So to clean the casings you use a round tool (with a vacuum) to clean a rectangular casing; it dosen't get into the corners as much (if you are a home owner and have a forced air, you should have them checked and cleaned every 7 to 10 years and change the filter every heating season). So the next time you are at the old folks home check to see what kind of heating/air conditioning they have. Most furnaces only have 1 filter on the return air side..... I would expect to see more rules on the cleaning of these systems in the old folks home after this Covid 19 area, because of the amount of the elders that died.

And add in the generous amount of tear gas thats being used. Which definitely has the potential to accelerate both the spread and the severity of Covid-19 cases.
