What about finding work in nursing or real estate? Two real life examples that I heard
I think review boards are good for knowing what type of content one may provide. It's also a good indicator one what type of services you may expect as a lot girls might make an arrangement with some select clients to do videos. I even did a recording once with a SP I was visiting a lot pre covid, but she never ended up going through with setting up an onlyfans. The point is OF May help you decide if you really want to see the SP.
With so many free porn sites, I just have to wonder why people choose to pay for it. There is only one porn movie I wish that I could actually find, and figure out who the lady is, so i can google her name. For the most part watching porn bores me. I enjoy sex, but want it to be with a real woman, as she blows my mind, and other things. Without the touching and kissing, meh.

Well displayed, and if those stats shown below are based on 1 and 1 source only. Highly, highly doubt ( BULL ) those stats are accurate. Sounds more like promotion figures at best. Oldest trick in the book is to inflate extreme numbers -- stats -- for attracting new people thinking they are missing out. Another words.....F.O.M.O.

I have to jump in to say I agree. Just here to provide info for perspective.
Most OF accounts make $0 because (1) they are not creators, only fans, or (2) they have not started posting and advertising. The "journey to the 1%" is exponential as the top is MUCH higher than even the top 5%. The stats given on OF creator accounts indicates where we stand in relation to all others on the site in the moment. You can expect top 5% to fluctuate between 2-3k/mo based off of that. A humble modest income. Most creators who are posting easily reach top 30% - that's often only a couple hundred in the whole month. Most who start don't last the first few months because it's not worth the effort for most. Even posting full everything with solo masturbation or straight up sex for $5/mo may not work out. Being pretty or hot is not enough as there are obviously many many hot girls - you need to be seen and create a fan base for consistent numbers. What does the top 1%, 0.5%, 0.2% make? That fluctuates the most.
It's usual to have 40-60% of your current fans drop off every month for exactly the reason provided - they got to see what's there and they're satisfied (or unsatisfied and not wanting to continue). That's why marketing through social media or being active online in public channels is the way to keep replenishing that lost 40-60%. Some creators write what to expect on the page in their bio, some do not. The biggest pages are either no pay-per-view (all photos and videos on the feed at one monthly price) or lewds like cosplay lewds with full nudity either thrown in once in a while, or as ppv in mass DMs. There are cosplay girls who do ONLY lewd photos and still make a decent amount worth their effort.
Why do people bother staying more than one month? It's a sexy insta. They want to see what's new, what's up, and maybe keep in casual contact. Maybe they just leave it on every month so that they can support the girl. Think of it as YouTube or Twitch memberships; you pay a set amount and get some sort of benefit listed. YouTube and Twitch memberships are even tougher because the content is majority already free, except for membership streams, so it's really down to "I appreciate this person and/or their work, and I want to be a supporter in a real way". If creators of any sort are supported enough, they can turn it into their full-time job and create more - cool!
Why buy porn when you can get it for free? Much of it is illegally distributed. Stolen, taken, leaked, monetized by those very sites showing it. Exploitative. But hey, that's the norm so no one thinks much or cares about it. Some people think creators deserve it because they put it out there in the first place, so "she was asking for it" justifications. Yes, leaks will happen, but in no way do individuals ask to be leaked. Some people very much do care, so they support with a tenner every month. I think of the people who view only free porn as people who will not be my fans or clients. They are not my target audience as a creator would want people who are happy and willing to pay.
That's as much as I'll say, all descriptively. The stats totally look promotional af. It's not easy money for most, it's not get rich quick and run away, and it is risk of social and career troubles your entire life for a couple photos.
In relation to covid affecting girls, I only know that it boosted OF activity. Many become quickly discouraged in months, but the saturation was high through those 2yrs from my experience and what other creators say. It definitely does have its lulls, but creators only stay when it's worth it to them. The newbies shed the fastest. Consistency keeps accounts alive. If more people are genuinely "getting some" outside of OF now that things are more open, then it is what it is. Platforms will shed creators, but the people with big fan bases will remain.
That's all I know on the digital in what's quick form for me (sorry I'm wordy!). I hope that provides a fuller image without all the fussy stats. Please don't ask me for proof because this is all descriptive from the community, not numbers. Hit doubt as much as you like 😆 I'm not into misinformation.

The 1% are creators - people who make the content. I corrolated 1% to be the same as the top earners (who earn 100,000.00). That only 12000 people out of 1.2 Million creators.
But the thing is you have to pay first before you see the creators site... no preview at all, except a description of site by owner.

Sure, you do what you want. I'd rather pay a marginally lower price for a provider I'm curious but uncertain about, which then allows me to make a decision. An ad eith photoshopped pics and a few reviews is one thing and video content with a better view is a whole other thing. Think of it this way, $15 for a whole month to decide on if someone is worth their $300+ hourly rate. Lots of times these providers offer a free trial and even promo rates on their content. You also get to see how many posts they have and when their last login was to help you decide if you want to subscribe.
No wonder sites like pornhub are so popular. There for free, the variety is huge, almost anything you want. Instead of just 1 person, and limited viewing, and you have to pay for it, take the time to sign up, etc. If you want to see midgets one minute, and grampa doing the maid the next minute, popular porn sites sound a lot better.
