Anyone planning to skip 2021 for pooning?

With the slow vaccine rollout next year I think I might skip 2021 and hope to see a few ladies in 2022. I noticed there are a lot less new ladies on LL posting and I don't blame them. Last time I went was early March and can't imagine conditions improving dramatically next year till at least Fall or Winter.

Anyone else skipping 2021?

Vaccines will be distributed through 2021. If you're in a high risk position then you get it first. So it's likely most people will get vaccinated by Q3 2021, which still leaves you 3 months to make up for lost time. Personally I'll have a 2 week bender in Thailand once I get the jab.

It depends. It’s too early to predict successful vaccination in Q3 2021. We can’t even predict what’s coming in the next month, let alone 10 months away.

Yes. Too risky with this second COVID wave.

The best way to know if men are avoiding this sport is to see prices drop and that's not happening yet.

Vancouver Island has been holding pretty steady during most of this year.. I have been seeing one Regular SP throughout the pandemic and she has been low volume at 3 days a week ..I have put everything on hold since the province wide PHO (2 immediate friends in your bubble ) until Dec 8th ..I'm sure that will end up getting extended ..Even at her only working 3 days a week that has me concerned with this second wave and the clients she is seeing now likely may not be as cautious or concerned as much as I am ..I am also concerned about breaking the Public heath order and its only a mater of time before someone gets flagged with all the lookylous watching closely ..I hope not ..but its only a matter of time that we have a breakout in this industry at the rate things are progressing .Good luck everyone and stay safe ..

I would hazard a guess that the number of clients in a week is more indicative of risk than the number of days worked in a week. It really is just math. But don’t worry. I’m sure she is being entirely honest with you about volume.

Supply has been severely reduced though - travel from asia pacific through YVR in Aug 2020 was less than 10% of Aug 2019. If it was only Canadian providers, prices would be much, much higher.

LOL I haven't been skipping pooning in 2020. Why would I in 2021 :) As the high risk people start getting their vaxxes in January and the rest of us later one I expect hospitalizations and deaths to drop drastically in the first quarter of 2021. And really hospitalizations and deaths are the only important metric. I'm not too fussed about cases as 85-90% of them are asymptomatic or mild symptoms.

SOOOO looking forward to life returning to normal again. I've been living as normal a life as i can through this. In Vancouver we aren't too shut down. Restaurants, bars, retail and gyms open. What I miss though are concerts and festivals (and I"m in the biz so double whammy. Personal and financial) But we'll get through this. Live as full a life as you can until this is over. And it will be over. Have a great weekend all

C19 is still so new that the long term effect is still unknown. Even people without outward symptoms show some internal damage:

We won't know the true toll for years, just like the people of Hiroshima.

Personally I like the way I am and not prepared to take on additional health problems.

Several papers show lung and heart damage. Strokes as well. “Survival rate” is very misleading metric.

No. I laid low for four months and as soon as I saw Egyptian Betty advertise, I went to see her.

COVID or no COVID, I will keep on marching with my sword in my hand. Although I would rather have the sword buried somewhere else.

My pooning pace has dropped through 2020 and I expect it will stay as is the next few months but no, I expect I will still have the same, maybe a bit more SP time in my 2021 especially if things stabilize.

The vaccine will most likely be readily available to the general public in maybe Q2, seems certain Q3/21 and then logistics dictate it will take time to get out there. 80% immunity is needed to drop the spread to R naught less than 1 which means over a moderate timeframe the spread stops. So think sometime 2022 most likely we are all good.

Provided the vaccine works and SARS2 doesn't become SARS3 or something nefarious.

Of course I keep conjuring up visions of Will Smith and I am Legend ...

One thing seems certain, if you check out dating sites the number of recently separately women seems to be at an all time high, so lads, it is shaping up to be a target rich environment out there.

Yes!! at least the first couple months of 2021. With a possibility of getting bad again (3rd wave???) in Jan 2021 after Christmas and New Years, it's getting too risky . Supply sucks!! and prices keep going up. Time to take a short break.
