So this answer does not relate to Jenny of EC; Jennifer Hunter's a different person. And I should be clear that I don't speak for Jennifer Hunter but I know she quit reading perb about a year and a half ago so I'll chime in here:

She had some very positive developments in her life and has moved on in a good way. I think it's highly unlikely she'll return at any point and I wouldn't say that for most people who retire (not looking at anyone in particular, Jethro… that's just your imagination. Don't be so sensitive.)

She hasn't taken any new clients in over a year anyway - don't ask me why her website is still active.

To those of us who knew her she'll be sorely missed. I don't know anyone else locally who offered quite what she did. Some people can't be replaced.

But yes! This is precisely the issue of which I speak:
- Avery 'retired' then moved into the old age home, which he discovered to be full of fresh "retirement options", if you know what I mean.
- Jethro 'retired' then - as you point out - became 'le chef de mission" of perb, undertaking liberal consulting work here while armed with his brand-new senior's discount and MSOG restriction (although I'm sure YMMV).
- Jennifer Hunter 'retired' and now, well… it appears she's actually retired. Imagine the nerve.
