hi guys.,

i know that even wearing a condom there are still quite high risk of getting STDs, which can be a totally disaster if someone transfer it to his serious gf/wife.

after reading some of the senior members' posts it looks like many of them has a gf/wife. how do you guys (who has a regular partner or wife) deal with the risk? or most of you are singles dont have to worry about carry the STDs to ur partner? also, is it less risk to go for those high end escort service? if money can do anything...

i have a friend told me he got STDs twice even he wore condoms during the process, dunno which place he went. is that possible?

any suggestion?

HJ is pretty safe for not passing anything on to the SO. Much more than that and there is that chance (sometimes very remote depending what you get up to) you will have a not very fun conversation with your doc and your SO and your lawyer and everyone of your friends that your SO calls and everyone who looks at your car after your SO scratches names on it........

It comes down to your tolerance for risk. Some PERBerts have great tolerance, others not so much (I am in the latter category).

as for the question at hand, I replied to something similar and my opinion remains the same

I know the cliche is "there's no dumb questions......" but IMO questions like this, while not exactly dumb, do display both a huge gap in fundamental knowledge as well as marked un-readiness to partake in the hobby

The knowledge is a relatively easy thing to address, just go to any one of the many legit sexual health sites and fill yourself with all sorts of useful info. The naivete on the other hand is a bigger issue. When you're sexually active with either a civilian or pro there are inherent risks that you need to accept. You manage them as well as possible through safer sex practices but if you're asking questions about HIV through digits you're probably better off sticking to solo activities until you can rationalize that.

First, go to your local std clinic and get tested to make sure YOU don't have anything then ask them about the risks of having sex with a condom. You can also go to your gp however you are limited to 15 min so although there's enough time for testing, there's simply not enough time to ask questions, imho. Knowledge is power!

As far as contracting something while wearing a condom...it's not that much of a mystery as there can still be genital contact especially with clients who are 'grinders' or have flimsy cocks & lets face it, sometimes the condom rides up. I think pro's are particularily aware of these things as we're not having sex to make you like us...we just wanna get you off as safely as possible so we can do it all over again with the next sucka...i mean valued client.

There is always a risk in having sex with someone however small, even your SO as she could be fooling around on you. Assess your own situation after you've learned the medical risks & make your own decision.
