Just checked on Stubhub, it's 3.5K per ticket on the low end.
Vancouver gets the joy of being close enough to Seattle and LA that the 30% exchange discount means that locals have to fight with US residents who missed out on their local concert, or just looking for a vacation experience.

It wasn't anything like this the last times Taylor went on tour, was it? She has played in Vancouver before and tickets couldn't have been this inaccessible. It felt that Swifties exploded in power and influence following Covid and Eras world tour
It was bad, but about 1k a ticket bad. Post COVID I wouldn't be surprised if people were taking loans out to go to her concerts. COVID bred alot of FOMO, which I'm usually glad about people getting out there and living their best life but it feels like we're in extremes now.
Lol I'm simply wondering if there are other Swifties here. Taylor doesn't even do meet and greets anymore, so having any kind of one on one interaction with her these days would be a treat.
However, Taylor was known for her "Secret Sessions" where she invited fans to her home for exclusive album listening parties! She scouted out fans through social media and the only cost would be your cost of transportation there. Fans could dance, chat, and connect with her to their hearts content. Everything was family friendly, of course. Some younger fans would be there with parents and Taylor's mom or dad also dropped in to say hi.

I can think of a better use of my money. Namely, spending time with the lovely ladies we hold near and dear to our hearts (and other things).
A former co-worker won 4 tickets in a radio promo in Toronto. He sold all 4 for 30K and paid off his credit cards, car loan and had enough left over for a week for two in Mexico with his wife. That's a pretty good exchange.

She probably could play all your types of music with her guitar (so not just her own songs but can do other artists too- that is cool).. One thing I will say she tries to be original with her songs.

Those high prices of tickets, probably her last tour for a couple of years...
