I dropped into a massage place on Hastings late last night, that will remain unnamed for now, to see the lineup. Left without partaking but on my way out the mommesin was interviewing a possible new recruit. She invited me to say hello.
This young lady was dressed in street clothes and sitting down so a little difficult to see what she would look like standing up (or lying down) in her working clothes. She was definitely on the small size, but not a spinner. I asked her where she was from and she replied "Paridise". I assume I must have sported a puzzzled experesion because she continued to say "This is better than hell don't you agree?". She said this with the slightest of smirks and what I believe was a Japanese accent. I suspect that she has used this line before
From her appearance I think it is quite possible that she is Japanese, but her English seemed relatively good from what I could tell from our short conversation.
When I first spotted her I thought she was in her twenties, but upon seeing her closer up, I suspect she is in her early 30s. But I could be wrong - I'm not the best at judging the ages of Asian women.
I asked the mommesinin what her name would be and I think she said Yumi (pronounced You-Me). I dd get the idea that it was still far from certain that the lady would actually be working there. There was definitely something unusual about her, enough so that I would like to find out if she has worked at other locations here in Vancouver and by what name she went (so as to see if there are any reviews for her on this site).
