I love this show. I can't believe some of the things that he eats and he never has a bad thing to say about his food in front of his host.

David Letterman once asked him what was the most disgusting thing that he had ever eaten. His reply was a McDonald's chicken Mcnugget. :clap2:

You and me both. Great show.

I recall one show was on an island near Venice (??). He visited a local eatery that was just very natural, fresh ingredients and they just did a set menu of what they wanted to cook that particular day. Only about 10 tables too. Turned out it is super popular with the rich and famous with rock stars flying in just to go there for a meal.

Yeah, GREAT show!

Part travel show, part food show..... with great food thrown into the mix. Really get a feel for the country by seeing the sights, and what food makes the country "tick". Food is the soul of the country.

I would love to travel like him, and enjoy all the local dishes from all the different regions!

His book Restaurant Confidential is an awesome read. He's the Keith Richards of the culinary world.
