Not sure if i should say anything. A friend of mines keeps her shitsu in a cage during nights and locks her dog in a small washroom unattended in the mornings with a tiny bit of water & food. Plays with it for a hour or less and this dog goes through the same crap again next day. Also, she hits the dog if it shits on the carpet. Im not a dog owner so wondering if this stuff is acceptable.

PS- ya im a ass and dine n dashed in the past. But i dont abuse small animals

Obviously she doesn't know how to look after dogs. Even though I hate shitzus and other small yappy furballs, no dog deserves that kind of treatment. Perhaps a subtle call to the SPCA or the Humane Society (or whatever they call themselves now) is in order.

We have friends who tried telling this person it's wrong too treat a animal this way. Ya i cant stand shitsus either but no animal deserves this sort of treatment.

The said fucking "degenerate"should be kept in a cage /locked in a small room so they can see how it feels!!

Sorry to say,this person should not have a pet.

Be a friend and find a good home for it.

ya this sad piece of shit told me she has no time too take care of it. Person is a professional putting long hours at work. The cage is so the animal doesnt run around all night and disturbs her sleeping

Then why does she have the poor creature? Call someone! They'll find him a home. My God, any home is better than that!

I found someone willing too take the dog. But im very upset how people are so uncaring and selfish. Im no saint but not sure i'd harm animals or people. The person is willing too give up the dog

Quite apart from the deplorable conditions this sad excuse for a human being was keeping the dog in, it baffles me what she personally was getting out of the experience of having a pet. It sounds like it was nothing but an inconvenience to her from day one. Why on earth would someone have a pet they "play with" for an hour a day and then keep in the conditions you described for the other 23 hours a day? The stupidity of the human species never ceases to amaze me.

I dont have pets because i know i cant take good care of them. That's why i dont understand why people can be such assholes when it comes too owning a pet. Same with people who have children and then not care for them

Hey LAG, I love dogs!! I had a Shitzu at one point...cutest little guy I tell ya!! Also had cared for other dogs but can't say what they were and are just in case any of my friends are Perb members. Its all good you cared and disclosed something that is not appropriate but ummm I hope for your sake your friend(s) does not come accross this board to discover you have a secret hobby ...unless of course you have several friends with shitsus that gets locked up in cages
