actually ace i went to brock and got my ba in canadian studies. also lets not forget that at the end of the year you will write off those donations as business expenses. but i guess at least you did something, however how dare you judge and make light of what someone has donated. who are you to be the moral judge of that?
also my point is that although yes i'm sure we all have intelligent friends you showed your lack of it by bringing that into play. you said trailerpark boys appeals to my intelligence to which i stated that my friend turned me on to the show and he happend to have a u of t masters. therefore making the bridge between his level of intelligence to aquire such a thing from that institution and his enjoyment of rather humours show called the trailer park boys.
No you challeneged by education based on your friends education, and if Trailer Park boys appeals to your Intellect, there is no shame in that. Some people like Beavis and Butthead and South Park too. I tend to find those people more entertaining in a "Unintentional Comedy" sort of way.
And no the Equipment donation is not a write off. You see it is lost revenue (and considering the equipment is mostly amortized, the rental revenues are basically pure profit.) And Yes considering the current Telus strike I could be renting the equipment elsewhere.
So the value of the donation is the amount of revenue lost (might be a hard concept for those from BROCK who spent their University career learning about Sir John A and Louis Riel). I figure that to be $4,000 per month x 4 months minimum before I get the equipment back. So that eqautes to $16,000 - $24,000 in lost revenue / Profit. No write off there my friend.
But thanks for your wisdom.
