Age only matters if you're a cheese...or does it?

I've been wrestling for a while with the subject of 'advertised age' vs. real age. One reason I like advertising here on PERB is that there is no age filter that limits me to a simple 2 digit number. I make no secret about the fact that I am in my late mid 40s...(how's that for vague?) because I know I look really good for my age. I do worry somewhat that there are those pooners out there who saw my actual age posted on that other site and thought "If she's advertising as 48, she's probably 50something; pass!!!" Their loss, in my not so humble opinion. Then there are those fine gents who have reviewed me and verified that my photos are really me, and that I really am in my 40s, and that I look damn good. Not to mention those gents who have not actively reviewed me but have demonstrated their satisfaction by coming back to see me again and again (and planning more visits in the future).

After giving it some thought I decided I'd go with 42. It's close enough for government work, as the saying goes; plus the nerd in me appreciates that 42 is the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe & Everything!

I had my real age posted for months...I still got asked by each new guest "How old are you really?" When I met NataliaBijoux, she asked me "How old do you advertise as?" Then, as Vanessa points out, I also get clients who fudge on their age and tell me later "I'm really a little bit older than 60..."

Should it really matter how old you believe a woman is if she manages to make you still feel young when it counts? As long as she manages to make me forget anything but how lovely she looks and how much I'm enjoying her company I personally couldn't care less if she advertised as being 21, 41 or 501.

Besides, a gentleman never asks a lady her age.

I do like my cheese nicely aged :pound:

Not everyone's taste but this stuff is awesome when paired with a nice Syrah

If you look 42 run with it. Everyone knows about advertised age in this business.
Oh, and always carry a towel

Prefer to see woemans under 30. If they be within 10yrs of my age rather try to buy 'em a drink at the bar n see how that goes.

Everyone thinks they look younger than they actually are.
I add 30% to the advertised age, its easier than trying to figure out who's lying.
When a chick hits 50 I'm just not interested, well 99% of the time.

True enough. I know I look damn good for my age. Adding 30% (12.6) to the 42 I am currently posted at means you'd figure I was 54?

I just wish I had the option to advertise elsewhere as 40s I think I make it plain enough in my PERB ads, and my reviews state that I'm in my mid40s. If it's important enough to you to know my exact age, you can go through my posts that reference historical events (Kennedy assasination) and figure out my exact age. When I hit 50, I'll advertise as late 40s...(because forty-twelve will definitely be late 40s!)

lol, My rule is to never pay for a woman that I could easily pick up in a public place. I had the "age" discussion with "good looking for her age" SP the last time I was in Vancouver - she fell exactly into the appearance and age range that I find "friends" invite to make the table work out. ;p None of my "friends" is a matchmaker, of course :) But, as I explained, I'm not going to pay for what is available free. At the time, I was paying to see Holly and Taylor who were both gorgeous young women and, most definitely, not available to me if I didn't pay.

I look at things this way.

I'm not as good as I once was but I'm good once as I ever was.

Thats how I look at it. I can pick up a middle aged single mom at the supermarket, I'm not going to pay for that.
I will pay for a hot 20's babe with the look I like, a well kept girl in her 30's would be fine also.
There are plenty of grandpa's that like older than that so girls don't feel bad, there's lots of horny guys for all.

Everything I say boils down to this...a) different strokes, and b) grandpas? Please! There are plenty of men in their 20s-40s willing to pay a woman in her 40s who likes to do things their girlfriends and wives won't, as well as the ones in their 50s and 60s who want a much younger model than what they've got at home that ISN'T young enough to be their daughter. So yes, there really are lots of horny guys.

And after all, a beautifully maintained 1965 Corvette is ALWAYS going to be a sweet ride, no matter who the man with his hands on the wheel is!
