Advertising in the general lounge is NOT permitted by anyone. You must be a paid advertiser to advertise on Perb and use the correct forum. Reposting an ad already removed get's you a fast ticket to perbatory as one gentleman just found out!

So there is a perbatory? Or is this just in name only? I remember a thread quite awhile ago asking to
have perbatory reactivated, but it did not appear at that time it was going to be.

Can you clarify please? Thanks in advance MB mod.

Fancier way of saying banned (purgatory).

Well actually there used to be a section called perbatory. Where all the banned folk
could be perused and seen why they got a banning and for how long.

It was brought up in a thread awhile back to see how it would go over having it
brought back. But it got denounced I believe at that time as well.

Perbatory was basically a wall of shame when the only sanction was short bans, with the introduction of the infractions and warnings in 2013, I believe, it was discontinued. The original perbatory thread still exists and sometimes I'll take a trip down memory lane but there are no plans to reinstate perbatory at this time.

The actual Link, that's included in this Thread, doesn't work for Me ?

The old thread is still in the admin area. Long before my time, but it seems to me that it would create a lot of unnecessary drama and debate, second and third guessing of decisions and back seat driving in general. When it's relevant or necessary, mods can and do mention bans that take place, that would seem enough in my view.

As to the topic at hand, there are plenty of guys who are fans of a particular provider. When that provider asks you to post a glowing review, or post 411 about her so she can jump in with another promotion post, or promote something that she wants to do (like a gangbang), she's asking you to break the rules here. She may well be a paid advertiser, but the reviewer/fan is not and is going to find themselves on the wrong side of a ban if it's something that happens again.

The mistake is the lady asking or requiring her clients to help her advertise. PERB is a place for honest reviews and sharing of information. Paid ads help fund that. Manipulation of the board to aid in advertising using the guys is not something the ladies should be spending time and effort on. Be a wonderful provider, the reviews and the added business they bring will come all by themselves. Planted reviews, shills or posts that are clearly just pumping a lady up don't last long and won't go well for the poster if they continue after the warnings are delivered.
