I meant it as a joke. I don't think pennies are even currency in Canada anymore. Has anyone tried to use them lately? I don't even think banks take them.

They are still legal currency as long as you are taking them to the bank, they just don't make them anymore. And the rules for cash is to round up or down, because a few cents don't make a difference in every over price item out there.
