ok so they won the emmy for best drama last year, keifer won best actor, fox has been pushing it lots lately so i decided i would check out the four hour season premiere! well i was impressed, lots of action and they blow up a nuclear bomb at the end of the show, now thats exciting television!! anyone else hooked on this show?

Ya I was happy they blew up the nuke in the city!!! I figured they'd puss out, and the SWAT team would have shot them all before they could detonate.

Best show on TV - bar none. The action is great and yes there are bits that aren't entirely plausible....but if you want that, watch dixcovery channel.

If thy want to do some crap like this .. then make it plausible .. So this time a nuke goes off .. when has that happened..
And when does this guy stop for a shit.. if we are following him ever minute .
I would try to watch it if it was called 24/7 then that is reasonable time to save the world every show but not this crap. And as for Keefer.. his dad is a lot better.. and yet even he is a klutz .. I remember Donald Sutherland from a part on "the Saint " with Roger Moore..back in the 60's.
It is amazing what people can be convinced to watch ..But then look at the world. It is fucked

I am not throwing $1700. out the window... that is a night with Mia.
But as for fiction .. I love SF... where anything is possible .. but I just find .24 impossible. to watch.. I think is the whole premise .. Each time .. Jack Has to come out of seclusion .. or prison .. or some other place ... Can't he just come home from a boring day at the office .. . He just a junkie .. and adrenaline junkie.... always one step away from death .. He needs some good therapy
And then there is all the over the top corruption ...backstabbing .. double dealing
... contrived suspense.. and know sex.. and know one takes a piss..

Seriouly though its the most exciting show on television, the last two years I missed every single episode intentnionally because I was travelling and didnt want to spoil it so I can rent/buy the entire season and entertain myself on those slow tuesday evenings. His spelling is the worst I've seen on this board, but usually it doesn't hinder being able to ascertain what he's trying to say.
I think a lot of the time he's typing too fast and not bothering to check what he typed before posting.
On 24: Sure it's completely unrealistic, but it's still entertaining.
I think they could make a lot of money from product placement with more close-up shots of the cell phones that are the real stars of the show.

I like the fact that we don't see a lot of promo spots on the show....no cans of Coke, no Motorola etc. Of course it is a bit unrealistic, it is entertainment television - not exactly the hallmark of realism!

Here I thought i could come off a little more intelligent .. because i have found the spell check.. But "no" I grammar sucks .. and my thought are rambling..and the two .three finger typing does not help much either... I say more here when i write these incoherent prose then i do in person .. You guessed it i am hard to understand.
