Loved the forwards backchecking like they did! That Sidney Crosby coming back and knocking Ovechkin off the puck was really something... Actually the way that team Canada manhandled Ovechkin was awesome....couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Can't say enough about those boys! Way to go!!!!!

In 10 years or less when every kid on the Canadian team is a star in the NHL (or whatever league there will be) we will look back at this team and say, no wonder we totally dominated!!!!

Russians very chippy team. Playing with their sticks up all the time. Thought the reffing was not in our favor. Perhaps US ref did not want to seem to be biased. Even US players were cheering for Canada.

Next year could be payback time for Russians with 10 returnees and Canada only 2 (if Crosby is not pro).

Defense was awesome, forwards great and I personally think it is Canada's best junior team for a long time if not of all time. Great job westerners......

I just luved the way they knocked Ovechkin all over the ice.....just another loud mouthed soft Russian. Total domination.......as it should be.....that Pheanuf is a monster out there!!

Phanuf's double take out leading to a goal was my highlight of the game. Not only did he take out the guy who carried the puck over the line, he took out the guy the puck was dropped to!

phaneuf shot is awesome too, he does everything.

regehr and leopold were two of the youngest dmen in the world cup. Phaneuf is hte best junior age defenceman no ques. And i am an oilers fan....which is weird.

Even though I consider myself a purist and like the game the way it was back in the 70's & 80's.........taking away the red line sure made for some pretty puck movement through centre ice......I'd almost be in favour of it
