Some of you may have seen the new local documentary on trying to establish a brothel in Victoria. One of the ladies interviewed
for the film was MIA. I just wanted to publically thank her for her candid and common sense language about her career and the obvious pride she takes in what she does ( and she does it very very well). She truly is a breath of fresh air in this too often - "hush hush industry". Thank you MIA for being who you are!!!

Brothel Project Second Screening!

Hello,
The Victoria Film Festival has asked for a second screening of The Brothel Project. They previously wanted to, but didn't have the opening for it. Luckily, some other doc fell through, so we are on!
The show will be this Saturday, February 6th @ 4PM in Cap6 Th6.

It takes courage to speak out in support of a profession that is much maligned - but widely practiced and enjoys a large customer base. Glad you spoke out.

yes thank you for having a voice & a very good one, you are an excellent speaker, I loved how you handled all of the questions afterwards.....while I am disappointed by the producer-editors cut-choice on some of it, your beautiful presence, confidence & raw honesty shines a light on the empowerment it can bring. The dynamics of the industry has changed since the introduction of the internet at lightening speed.... the power to make change comes in numbers, momentum builds...I believe the emotional complexity needs to be addressed, then perhaps more people will be able to switch on a confident view & support what we all know is coming soon, globally to a place near you.....perhaps its the underground cash flow that interjects logic to legalization! is it 420 yet? oh right, 2010. Lets get out of the dark ages already.
