All fairly well known private lenders in this country. Respectable, good rates, honest dealers (as honest as any money lenders in any event)....

I can give you some more names if you like...

HSBC, various credit unions (Vancity comes to mind), President's Choice financial... Manulife...

Absent tangible security i.e. real estate with attachable equity via mortgage you will not find a lender who is not a loan shark.

Private lending source?

Hi All,
Thanks for the advice, I don't particularly like dealing with primary lenders as their rules and conditions are so absurd! I understand that they are protecting their loans, but private lenders are always willing to lend you more money with less conditions and allow repeated borrowing for investment, as opposed to primary lenders. In the long run you save time, money, and establish a much better borrowing relationship with private lenders. I'm looking for $150k. If anybody can help please let me know. This isn't a real estate transaction, and the full $150k isn't needed in one direct payment, but more in stages. Please let me know if you can help either way, and yes I do value my legs
