It must kill you not having the Jets there anymore! Biggest shame in NHL history (along with the Nordiques going to Colorado)

Regardless, I HATE seeing Canadian cities losing their teams  The White Room was so cool during the play-offs too!

BJH where are you?
10 and 0-so-fine-at-Home!
What a time to get hot...Just before the play-offs roll in.
Not BJH, but I can say - uh, the playoffs are still a few weeks away. They have been hot for the last two weeks.
Still plenty of time for them to go into a skid in time for the playoffs.
The hot streak is, for the most part against lower echelon teams.

Because you people are delusional if you think Vancouver is going to win the Stanley Cup.
In fact, they will be lucky to get into a second round. Every team plays over their heads for a while.
When the money's on the line the real teams show up and Vancouver isn't even close, but have your dream if you want.

Exactly. Seems like we, along w/ Hunsperger, and a few others, know this is a total fluke; 11 wins against sub-par teams who have no incentive to play hard for the rest of the season, and these Canuckleheads are already planning the playoffs.

So sickening to see them get so giddy, just raises my hatred against the bandwagons. Face it Trackie, you were one of the puckheads who wanted AV fired when they lost 10 straight at home. or was that Fairy Bellshit? with so many canuckleheads, it's just terrible how you lowered the standards of what a good hockey fan should be.

These nucks won't even win the 1st round. Wait til they play a REAL team in the playoffs. Quit getting so excited beating up on the Kings, it's embarrassing.

Once again you prove that you know nothing about hockey.

Yeah, because the teams the Canucks have beaten during the streak such as the Kings, Stars, Blue Jackets, Habs, Wild, Sharks, etc had no incentive to play hard. I mean, it's not like any of those teams are battling for positioning in the playoffs, right?

All of those teams had a LOT to play for but apparently you think they had no incentive to play hard and win. Get your head out of your ass buddy.

I think its time Bjh picks "his" team.
Its pretty lame to pick the entire field minus the Canucks to win the cup.

Hey, I'll be the first to apologize if the Canucks actually get past the second round, but the flag waving and parade planning is all speculation based on a winning streak by the same team that lost 9 in a row in January.

Your arguments get weaker with each passing day. When they lose you say they're a shitty team, when they win you say it's a fluke.

Let's cut to the chase -- you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

If you don't like the Canucks that's fine. But get your head out of your ass and look at the standings. They'll make the playoffs. What happens in the playoffs is anyone's guess.

If they don't do well, then you were right - they aren't as good as some people believe they are. If they do well, then at least have the gumption to admit your mistake instead of hiding behind your inflamatory rhetoric because it was interesting at first but now it stinks like a fart in an elevator.

Failing that -- go out and get a blow job.

If you want to debate hockey with me, I am totally cool with that, but at least be credible in what you say in regards to what I have said. It's funny how you focus on me when I am the one who first said that Edler was WAY over paid when he got his new contract and that he was drafted from a tier 2 Swedish hockey league. I was also the first to say that Pyatt is a joke and is comparable to Dana Murzyn. If you look back, I was the first to say that Ohlund is the most over-rated defenseman and should be traded. Again, if you look back quite some time ago, you will also see me being the first to state that the Sedins should not be on a first line, but would make great second line players. You will not, however see me praise Wellwood, Hanson, Sundin, Salo, etc. nor how the Canucks will do in the post-season.

Personally, I like the grit players, not the, "Superstars". Valk, Didick, May, Burrows, Kessler, Baron, guys that may not score a shit load, but play with their HEARTS.

If you would like to debate with me, then base it on what I have said, not what you would like to remember to support your insults. I like players like Bieksa and Willy Mitchell. Are they elite defensemen? No, but I like their grit and determination. I like how Edler is developing. Considering where he came from, he is a pleasant surprise. Same goes for Bieksa. Drafted in the 3rd round, yet here he is.

I think making Luongo the captain of the Canucks is a joke and was only done so to make him want to stay here.

Considering what the Canucks had, I do believe signing Mats Sundin was a good idea. They had the cap space and nobody on the Moose that is better than him, so why not? Is he worth the money? Of course not (unless he does something spectacular in the play-offs), but what other option did the Canucks have? As far as saying that nobody else but the Rangers wanted him, maybe you should google that and see how wrong you are about that. Didn't you wonder why he was booed every time he touched the puck in Montreal? It was because the Habs made a really good pitch for him, but he declined.

Feel free to debate the above with me, as I love debating hockey. I love the game, the draft, the trades and trade rumours, playing armchair GM, etc. When you chuck out the Nucklehead and homer slants, it just shows that you don't have anything intelligent to say on the subject. I have 3 members in my family that were in the NHL. I love hearing all of their stories, and debating hockey with them, as none of the 3 ever really agree with each other. I'll say this much, one played against Don Cherry and these two are two peas in a pod. He's a bigoted, grouchy old fart, but the man knows his hockey. Debating hockey with him is an absolute blast. Here? Not so much.

He won't do that. If you look back, he stated that the West Coast Express line had two years of success which was a fluke. A 2 year fluke? If the Canucks won the cup 2 years in a row, I'm sure he would call that a fluke as well, so I wouldn't hold my breath thinking he would admit to making a mistake.

My honest opinion is that he is laying the bait and people are falling for it. Shame that it takes away from the fun of talking about hockey and enjoying the games that are on, not to mention the streak.

Yeah, go tell that Xerox before he sells his RRSPs to buy the Nucks' 3rd round playoff tickets.

Imagine how giddy he'll be for the finals ;)
