I thought some PERBites, especially the ladies, might find this article from the latest New York Times Magazine interesting:

Hey thanks for posting that link, it was a really good read. Funny enough I've had to make quite a study of female sexual arousal myself in order to make the movies I create as passionate as possible and therefore very exciting to watch.

I think those researchers should spend some time on a porn set with a really good director, they could learn a lot I think.

I've really tried to focus all of the movies I shoot on achieving real female arousal for the models. If the girls are really having a good time the movie comes out the best.

I learned some really great things from that artical though that will definitely help me make it even more fun for the girls on set.

I didn't really know that so much of a womans arousal depended on how much someone was lusting after her, that is very useful to know. So now I'm going to spend a lot more time establishing a very strong and obvious desire for the woman in my movies.

I wonder what would happen if you contacted Dr. Chivers with that idea. You never know what academics researching will do these days. Maybe you could get a research grant!

Now wouldn't that be a radical approach

That would be the ultimate cool to get researchers to pay us pornographers, providers, pooners, etc to do our stuff for them!

Maybe they can make it a part of the new economic stimulus packages grant money.

I just might fire off an email, you never know, stranger things have happened.

One time a couple of girlfriends got drunk with a bottle of wine at their kitchen table. Another friend had forgotten a blank Canada Council grant application form on their table a couple of days previous.

It had wine, coffee and food stains all over it but the girls decided to make a joke out of filling it out with a ridiculous request for $12000.00 to travel across Canada in a van and make up a dance about every town they stopped in.

They got the money! So anything is possible imo.
