Solution for fake CL pics?

I was cruising the Edmonton CL and came across this ad. I signed up, grabbed a fake pic from the Vancouver page, and voila, it showed over 20 sites that the pic is up on. And this after promising "100% really me or no pay." Go figure.
I'm not associated with this tineye site so use at your own discretion.

Do you have your doubts when looking at the ads here and you see "100% Real Photo of me"??

Here's a solution before going to waste your time.

Get yourself an account on "tineye dot com" (it is free), then go to a CL ad that has a picture you want to authenticate right click on it copy the image location and paste it in tineye. Within seconds you'll see all the websites that have this exact same picture.>>snip

tineye works ok, on terb we have a whole thread dedicated to catching ads with fake pics.

That said, in TO there are some outfits that use fake pics but have nice ladies... best you just report every time you tofft...

Thanks Jim. I didn't realize it had been posted. Since Alberta doesn't have a 411 I use the Edmonton review folder. Might be time for the PERB admin to set up separate folders for 411 for the provinces that aren't BC?

Do people really need to use fake CL pictures? I mean most of the pics I see are taken by a regular digicam anyway. I haven't seem to many that I would question. I did check the site out though, and it is pretty cool and useful. I even tried putting a few CL pics in and none of them came back with any matches.

Apparently not, lol.
Most guys know the micro ad pics are fake, but that occurs much more frequently in Vancouver of course. I guess that would make it easier for them to use fake pics and get away with it in AB?

Tin eye is a great idea; to share with everyone, a thread in the main lounge would do it (reminder: it isn't the Vancouver Lounge, it is the Perb Lounge for everyone lol)

It is easy to post the same thing every day even if the ladies change. It allows the ladies some privacy outside of work. It is really only a problem when what you see is worse than the picture. I only ever walk away if I feel disappointed. My favorite incall uses only fake pictures for their ads outside review boards or specialized advertising venues like redzone.

I can understand that, a lot of men ask to see pictures of my face and I am often hesitant because I have seen men post their photos on here or other places when they were sent to them privately, I would hope that I get the same discretion that I give to them. The reason I say this is because I don't know who is out there that I may know in a personal or professional manner same as youself.

Here is a great example; and between you and me this is by far the wierdest thing that has EVER happened to me.

I got a call to goto an address that seemed familiar, the agency gave me his name and address, I asked if it were a house or apartment, she said it was a house..ok phew maybe it isn't who I thought...

As I am approaching I notice that it is located very close to the person I am thinking of....in fact it is the home of the person I am thinking of...except she WAS in fact wrong about it being a house..OMG it turned out to be my FREAKING BROTHER . Now before anyone asks...No I didn't goto the door nor did I call. How wierd is that...can anyone top it. This is exactly why I am happy the agency does not have a website.

Most of my friends know, however there are many people I would not be as open with since they are people that are pretty conservative.

You're saying that the agency sent you out on a call with both name and phone #, but you claim that you didn't recognize name, number and address of your own bother???!!!

I'm thinking you are going to get a helluva lot of pms asking to meet.

I'm not kinda rude, I'm a smartass lol. Truly there are a lot of naieve ladies out there, easily taken advantage of and sent off who knows where without any consideration for them. To me first sign of familiarity would have me calling the agency and confirming the number. Posting something like this, while amusing in a different way, may have some lurkers here thinking "here's someone who might fall for anything so I'd better come see her before she smartens up".

Just don't let an agency tell you what you need to feel safe, secure and comfortable when doing outcalls.

They refuse to give out phone numbers directly. I really don't know why I think it has something to do with girls calling clients directly and making their own arrangments, or ruining calls or some other shit...there could be a million reasons, not to mention sometimes when you call them they want to talk to you up until you get there, LOL.

I really wish that didnt happen, but I had a gut feeling from the instant I heard the address, but I didn't want to sound like an idiot and I was kinda embarrassed at the same time. Who wouldnt be, how do you explain that to the secretary, lol I was hoping that it was just a chance that it was in the same area. Plus this was a huge complex so..it really could had been. But when I got there it confirmed what I had already thought. Besides it didnt amount to anything cuz once I got there I recognised and left. end of story.

I am not worried about anything like that anyway...It's nice to know yo ucare so much about the ladies safety though, too bad more men didn't then we wouldnt have these issues.

You do make a good point though Fortunate, its too bad there are so many people out there willing to take advantage of someone who is putting themself out there. When I first started in an MP I naively allowed some clients to pay me after a session and I had a handfull who said they apparently didn't know it was cash only and i requested their ID or something of value and you know what-they wouldnt even come back for it...maybe it wasnt theirs....either way, I sometimes hear men compain about ladies asking for cash up front, this is exactly why...even some of the most seemingly honest looking clients may rip you off

Exactly. It would be better if the management of places like mps insisted that the sp collect fees up front, as that would take it out of her hands. A good manager would ensure that not just them gets paid lol, but obviously a new sp isn't going to know that guys who go to mps are just as likely to rip them off as if they saw them independently.

Anyways, I was also thinking about that outcall situation (I mean it is possible that one of the roomates could book an appt). Here the agency sends you out to a place that has multiple occupants (you know this because you know that your brother has room-mates). How much work did they do to ensure that they were sending you to a single person, and not sending you into a place that could very possibly have had 2-3 guys lurking in the other rooms? Well, that's just one issue. I've seen a few reviews from guys who get sent girls who have no idea what the receptionist/booker has promised the client, and at what rates. They prefer to get their cut, send out a (say) non-gfe for someone requesting pse and stick the girl in the middle of a bad situation. And nobody but the agency is happy, cuz they end up fining the girl for not staying or charging the guy a cancellation fee.

Just my rant lol.
