As long as injuries don't become an issue and they keep playing with some heart, it should be a good year. And this is with Luongo just playin, "OK". If he gets back into form, it should be a very interesting year. I'm LOVING the Burrows line. SO high energy!

S far as injuries go, lets hope thatthe usual suspects don't fail us again. I'm talking about SALO, OHLUND and Mitchel. They're a major core of the back end. We need them to be there for most of the season.

Ohlund I can live without. He and Pyatt are so overrated it's not even funny. We have so much depth on the back line and eager rookies on the front line that I would like to see them traded for a Pyatt sized centre that can actually stay on his feet and will throw more than one hit every 2 or 3 games. That or another sniper on the point. Salo doesn't shoot enough and he takes full advantage of our wonderful health-care system

Actually, I think Ohlund is underrated and is one of our most steadiest dmen. I hope Gillis signs him to an extension. For 3.5 million, he's fair market value.
Gillis does need to give Burrows a contact extension. For what he gets paid, its a steal / bargain.
