Phoned to book an appointment today and got a message saying legends does not accept blocked calls. Not a good business move. I don't mind some girls knowing my name and number but sure don't want everyone knowing my number!!! Decided not to book!!!!!

I don't get it.

I have no idea why some people and businesses do not accept calls from blocked numbers. Most of the cell phones that I have had automatically have a blocked number which makes it a pain to call certain places.

I think it has more to do with the fact that although they are in the "service" industry they need some help with understanding what customer service is all about. Sometimes it does not just include time in the room.

there is no way to control fake calls and no shows unless you can see the callers' number. That is the reason why Legends will not accept blocked calls. Originally they allowed blocked numbers and had too many fake/no calls. Not accepting blocked calls has significantly improved the situation and it has not resulted in less good business. You can unblock your number to call, if you are really interested.

I believe if you dial *69 on your phone you will override the default blocked outbound call.

you can have your phone set to display your call..........some set it to show by default and other providers set it to block by default, but you can have your provider set it up to display!
Many businesses dont accept blocked calls/nor do I!
If it doesnt show me who is calling than i probably dont want to talk to them.

I really don't give a rip who has my number or not. I'm ugly and don't expect to get stalked....so, I've got that going for me. Use your best discretion and book where you feel comfortable. Business is business...
