Actually this whole "Secret" thing makes me quite mad.
It's a blatent rip off of an author from the 1950's who first revealed the "Secret". It's typical - repackage it and make it like it's something new.
In fact I think even Oprah did a special on it - very sad how they are duping people with this new found spirituality.
Napolean Hill also wrote about it, "Think and Grow Rich".

You can menifest what you want in your life by having the right "thoughts"
think negative thoughts and you will attract more negativity in your life, the very thought of wanting, means that you are lacking and will continue to lack.
Ah.... no intergrity in this world anymore ....
The fact is show me a successful happy person and I'll show you a doer.
Have goals, keep your promises to yourself and follow through, stop sabotaging your life and your efforts, love deeply, do unto others, choose your friends wisely, treat others with respect and you will do just fine.
What I am saying is that there no one secret to success, there are many many ingredients that go into a successful happy life.

I saw bits of the secret promotional DVD. While they have famous people touting the wonder's of "the secret" and the DVD has some nice special effects and is high budget... It is an Anothony Robbin's type feel-good about yourself/maximize your life type infomercial. Anothony Robbins, Phil Mcgraw, Dale Carnegie... Guess who is really bringing the big $.

Just because its a philosophy that was thought up before doesn't mean cuz more people are getting it now that its less valuable or untrue. Does that sentence make sense?
the power of positive thinking is amazing
there have been so many times when things are rough,., and believe me I do feel it and need a good kick in the but from time to time.. but I have learned that we have all the answers to all of our own questions. U have to learn how to find them.. and the more positive u are and just believe that what ever it may be will be fixed or solved or whatever, it will happen..after all we are in control of all of our own emotions.. regardless of the situation... and the more positive energy you put out.. u will get it back.. In life u can't say I would love to do this that or the other thing.. U have to say I will do this that and the other thing, and once u do that its yours u own it.. and one way or another u will have it !!!!

Desperate times, desperate measures. With the Iraq debacle, corrupt administration, teetering economy, growing disparity between have and have-nots, simmering racial issues, and the fact the rest of the world HATES them, Americans need all the help they can get to think positive or they'd all go on a shooting spree. And hey...did I mention the poor souls in Iraq who close their eyes, click their heels, and chant "there's no place like home" only to open their eyes to find they're still in the same old shithole?
