I know it's really awful, but I can't help laughing.
LOL Well I had it all in 100's. But as I was heading downtown I thought, "what the heck. If they wanna be assholes, I'll give them 5's."
Three banks later and a casino, I finally managed to get it all in 5's.
It's a lot of work changing money over. Almost burnt $5.00 in gas.

Jenn, why didn't you tell me before I saw you? I could have helped the cause by paying you in fives. :p

LOL The idea only came to me on the way to pay it. I considered getting rolls of toonies, but It would have been easier to count in rolls of $50.
$5.00 rolls of dimes will be cool if it happens again. It will be heavier than hell for me to bring down there, but VERY worth it.

Did the sign specify that change had to be rolled? Loose change would be so much more fun, get rolls from the bank so you don't have to count it then break them open. Make sure to purposely short change them, then when their count comes up short insist you gave them the right amount and demand they count again. :D

OMG... They would kill me. I'd have a disgruntal court clerk jump me and whack me on the street when I walked out the door. LOL

Hey you deserve some amusement for your $2100, the clerk would have to suck it up, it's their job, you might need a bodyguard to protect you from the other customers though. :D

Thats what I was thinking too. Or at least I could write a review about my $2,100 adventure, and still never got screwed. Ok wait, yeah, I did get screwed. Oh well, you only live once. I can't take the money with me when I die. Might as well support the City Of Calgary pothole fund.

So instead of sticking it to the government and the politicians who put the regulations in place that you disobeyed, you busted the balls of two $14/hour clerks to prove your point.

Do you really think that the top level people will ever know about you and you $5 bill stunt?

Just a question. Each to there own.

The court system is the court system. From the prosecuter, to the judge, to the clerks who take the money. In the end, its the court system. Sorry if I upset you at work today.
Sheesh, there's always one.

So what exactly is your beef with the court system? You feel you should be able to park for free wherever you want while everyone else pays?

OOPS, make that 2.
One thing I have learned, is that no matter what ya do, not everybody will be happy with what ya do. If you zig left, somebody will tell you ya should have zagged right. Thats the beauty of having individual opinions. And I respect yours. No worries.

The clerks get paid the same whether they serve 10 people per day, 100 people, or 1000 so it's no skin off their nose. If the clerks are constantly busy counting coins and small bills the city would have to hire more staff. Jenn's doing her part to create more jobs. :D

Where did she say she was paying parking tickets? Apparently the city just wanted their pimping fees.
