The same could be said for all of humanity Charlee. There are such good people out there, and we can do great things. That’s what makes it so disappointing when an asshole comes along, ya just know they’re capable of being better.

I was going to write about emotional intelligence, traits of high valued folks, standards, that kind of thing but thought, naw, too much effort.

Additionally, I am uncertain if the men you engage with in the context of sex work accurately reflect or provide an adequate representation of the average man or men in general.
Similar to how the women men encounter in the realm of sex work are clearly not a good sample or representation of the average woman, I would argue that they are quite far from it in general.

Louder for the people in the back Charlee! Or maybe the ones in the replies that lack said emotional intelligence ☕You worded it beautifully. I’ll never be an “I hate men!!” Type of girl but I WILL hold the men in my life accountable for their behaviour. The men that are less permanent get left behind and I’ve gotten good at viewing things from @masterpoonhunter’s described POV.
I’ve also noticed many men lack emotional intelligence. From personal experience and other women I’ve spoken with, if it’s not present to begin with it’ll be very difficult to attain. While IMO most women are naturally emotionally intelligent.
This may be a genuine question but I’d beware of your delivery as you come across as dismissive and tbh just kinda mean lol.
how can you argue that standards of emotional intelligence are lower for men when for ages society has told us that men need to be strong and women need to be soft? Many men are raised without the emotional aspect of them being nurtured. It’s not your fault, but it is your responsibility to unlearn or to develop certain soft skills.

There are many high value, very intelligent in all aspects, men, out there. As there are women. And there are those who are not.
I bristle when sweeping all encompassing statements get made.

There are ways I am sure to acquire some skills and gain more empathy, sympathy, or basically be more understanding towards others. No doubt man have been conditioned to be 'tougher', women to be 'softer'. It goes back to times whem we lived in caves, it evolved, but overall this hasn't changed in modern times. Some societies are build around it - the different expected roles of males and females. It's predetermined by natural genetic male physical strength of males, including the higher order in the animal kingdom. But we are living in 'modern' times. Especially now with social media where anyone can vice their opinion. Not so much in certain specific environments, like the loud speaking constrution workers for example, but in general there is more talk about peoples emotional health. I think man's emotions and emotional needs have been ignored and still are. At the same time, true empathy as being an empath, can't be learnt. You either have it or not. It's on the other side of the spectrum from sociopathy and psychopathy. It can acquired as a behavioral trait, but true psychopats are born this way. I agree that in general, there are more women closer to empathy than man. Bearing babies women have different dominant hormones, which stimulate the nurturing needs. While man are more focused on ensuring survival. It is hard for an empath man in society, beause it is based on generalizations and expectations. There are certain personality traits that have more women than man, so I think the assumption about gender differences in this is not untrue. But of course, there are horrible women out there, cruel and abusive, and unfortunately that has been ignored punishing innocent man often instead because of the society's stereotypical assumtions. Speaking of hate, i just think it is wrong to hate either man or women. It simply shows shallowness and/or indicates the persons osychological problems. On the last note, academic or IQ intelligence is very overrated. It doesn't paint an objective picture of a person, especially if it is used as the main or only means of evaluation. Which, unfortunately, became a standard in today's society.
