LOL this is actually a funny one for me. My recent ex went through my phone without me knowing and saw past conversations with SPs. I've never seen an SP while in a relationship or even dating, but it was funny because it obviously bothered her but she wouldn't say because it meant admitting that she watched my unlock code and used it while I was sleeping. Then it came out during the breakup... but that happened for a lot of other reasons. As it turns out, she had BPD and was cheating on me the entire time. Thankfully we weren't together long.
Be glad if it was not a marriage, and especially if no kids have happened yet.
I know someone who had a similar situation - ex definitely a narcissist, plus some other things for certain, who did likewise on the cheating front - then had the nerve to accuse him after he left her and took up with my friend.
The problem: this was a marriage with kids, and since they split up, she has resorted to every dirty tactic to get back at him, including trying to declare her kids as disabled and later incompetent, so the money tap from him never gets turned off. The crazy drama and legal hassle has dragged out for years.
(Is she the type to want to go through an s/o's phone (but not reciprocate) - you betcha !)
