When I first glanced at the thread title, my mind read "Forum Outrage".

Does this mean after the transition we will be losing a couple day worth of posts and threads again? Because I think it's good for people to be aware of that so we don't post anything before this outage is over.

Seriously we should all take a minute to thank all the people in the administration, who we never hear about, but have kept this board running, almost continuously, for almost twenty years! 👏👏👏👍

I’ve been through a fair number of server migrations and let me state for the record that they’re not always as seamless as this one. It can take 1 to 24 hours for the site to be found at the new address and if you hadn’t given the heads up I wouldn’t have known the dif. And I also know that there’s a shit ton of work that goes on behind the curtain (and a ton of nail biting).

So a heartfelt thanks to you and the Perb crew for keeping this free (to users), entertaining, money-saving, invaluable service going.
