Racism? He freed more black men from prison than any other president with his prison reform bill. More black people were employed than any time in American history, until Covid struck. The whole racism trope is as foolish as the Russian one that wasted three years of the media's time. Look at my above post to see Biden's racism.

I agree and Im no Trump fan. The racism angles IS fake news and the facts bear that out. His prison reform bill gets totally ignored by his haters. It just doesnt fit their narrative. As a huge fan of Obama the statesman and Obama the human being, but not neccesarily Obama the president I cant believe the Democrats couldn't do better than his geriatric sidekick Biden. I think Tulsi Gabbard would have been a breath of fresh air for the US. But that was never going to happen while her arch enemy Hilllary still runs the Dems behind the scenes. And one last word for everyone drinking the koolaid that CNN and the NY Times and Washington Post are serving. DONT go feeling all superior to all the Fox viewers. All of those media outlets have lost their connection to reality in their hatred of Trump as Fox did in its hatred of Obama. Just saying.....question ALL US and Canadian media right now, not just the ones you dont agree with.

It amazes me the number of people who attack Fox for bias that are blind to any bias in CNN, the NYT or the Washington Post. They are also the same people who condemn the National Post for bias but think the Toronto Star speaks nothing but truth. News media have biases just like every person. Question what you read and look for diverse sources. I’m not optimistic about either the SJW’s or the neo-Nazis doing though.

That"s simply because no one man has been the cause of so much termoil in such a short term. (3.5yrs)
It took all those others a span of 20,30 and even 40 years or more to cause all those problems
as you so put it. 'Extremely stable genious, my ass!!

Big difference eh?

You're incorrectly conflating turmoil with actual real problems. Most of what Orange Man is criticized for are misquotes, meaningless gaffes and blatantly misrepresented non-stories that are Tweeted and shared among liberal opinion personalities that call themselves "journalists". The truth is that journalism is basically dead because true journalism is a reporting of factual events as they happened, not to be injected with morality opinion snippets and bias and clipped to present a false narrative. Just look at any journalist, or persons that call themselves journalists, and then have a look at their Twitter feeds. Brian Stelter of CNN is one of the biggest offenders.

This all points to the original idea that you presented that "turmoil" is the same as real problems and that the turmoil from the past 3.5 years is worse than problems created by individuals that were in office thirty years ago and still in office today. Do you think something Orange Man said is as bad as something Joe Biden and Nancy voted for, such as the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994, which is directly responsible for much of the “systemic racism” complaints we’re hearing about today? It is absolutely fantastical to believe that the same people that have been in office, in form or another, for the past thirty years, are suddenly going to change anything, much less for the better.

Interesting you say that. There was growth, indeed, before Orange Man took office, but his primary goal was to bring growth back to the manufacturing sector, hooked around restructuring trade deals with us and Mexico and then onto China. He succeeded in both, and combined with reducing the corporate tax rate to 21%, manufacturing exploded. Obama's final 30 months of manufacturing focused jobs growth brought in 185,000 manufacturing jobs. In Orange Man's first 30 months, that expanded to 499,000 manufacturing jobs. Obaman cannot take credit for this if he himself said bringing back manufacturing to the US wasn't possible. His exact words were “How exactly are you going to do that? What exactly are you going to do?” Obama asked. “There’s no answer to it. He just says, 'Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well, what, how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer.” The answer was given with a 170% increase in manufacturing jobs.

How is he "extending the crisis"?

Been really enjoying the Lincoln Project ads. Would be nice to have that kind of money behind campaigns in the western world to bring to light all the corruption, glad handing, gerrymandering etc that goes on in the old boys clubs that form the 'leaders'. Sure these are pointed and specific to an interest but none of them are off the mark. If it wasn't so sad and real people were not being hurt so badly, this would be great entertainment this watching the emperors fiddle while the failed states of america burns.

How so? Was your post supposed to be clever in some way? I was responding directly to JimDandy.
If you were going to be especially careful in a post, it would stand to reason that you should have actually followed through on your intention (otherwise, why bother claiming you were going to reply carefully?).

Trump misquoted? Let's roll the tape

Yes, manufacturing did gain 499,000 jobs in Trump's first 30 months, but his COVID screw up has caused over 40,000,000 job losses, the worst of any President. While states tried to prevent more infection, Trump was tweeting his followers to "liberate" them.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/mar/28/trump-coronavirus-politics-us-health-disaster
140,000 dead - according to experts, 90% didn't have to die. A civillian death toll outstripping deaths from the Vietnam War (47,500) and the Korean War (33,700) COMBINED. Other countries like Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand all moved swiftly and effectively. They had a plan, executed on it and for them, life is mostly back to normal. Their citizens can go about their daily lives, with minimal fear of getting infected.

It's f*ckin July, and there is STILL no nation wide testing/tracing strategy, no mask mandate and PPE shortages are once again emerging. States cannot possibly handle a disaster of this scale - a patchwork of measures is just as good as a designated peeing lane in a swimming pool. COVID was festering in other states just as New York was struggling. The result: skyrocketing rates of infection across the states. It's totally unmanageable at this stage - it's simply not possible to get a handle on 60,000+ new cases a day.

So what's going to happen next? With no leadership, America is just going to stagger through this epidemic while the rest of the world has moved on. No American tourist will be welcomed anywhere as long as the virus rages and no European/Asian tourist would even conceive of visiting. America is going to become a plague state, avoided and shunned in the international community. This could go on for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th waves. What do you think is going to happen to the economy?

Because I wanted to list out the questions in point form so that JimDandy would have less opportunity to veer off course with whataboutisms. Most people I debate with tend to do that by venturing off into unrelated territory instead of staying on point.

Did anyone watch the Chris Wallace interview? Omg it was painful...

Like I started this thread. Trump will win the 2020 election. Americans buy whatever crap this maggot sells. Tomorrow he is beginning his daily covid briefings again and will convince people about the testing skewing the numbers. He has now gone on record of supporting the wearing a mask. What a manipulator of redneck lack of intelligence.

First of all how are the people who have been in office for the past 40 years in one form or another
going to make a difference when they are not even in power? Second, They certainly are not and did not attempt
the way the Orange orangutan is doing by slowly dismantling democracy as we know it.
Like just lately in Portland with unbadged federal police and unmarked vehicles apprehending and beating protesters
and threatening to do the same in other cities, Chicago, New York? He even said himself he is the ultimate authority and the chief of police for the entire country. I loved the mayor of Portlands remark to trump to get his authoritarion
militia outta her city. LOL Nicely done.
What the fuck? Bringing in the Gestapo he is.
Now that's turmoil dude in its true form. The beginning of the end of Democracy in our closest ally.
Now that's scary shit and you wanna wave flags at Sleepy Joe and Crooked Hilary? Who gives a shit
about them anyway for fuck sakes?

The divider in chief is the key to the whole turmoil problem in the US. Not past has beens
like you seem to want to blame everything on now. They are not in power.

And those are not whataboutisms either. Where your point is.

I don't know who said it but I heard them say that there is enough material to go on for a conference
study of this mans unstable mental state. After seeing this video and watching the whole thing
its flabbergasting to watch how he blatantly manipulates the twisting of ideas and words.
Just mindblowing indeed. I thought I was watching One flew over the Cuckoo's nest again.

And what's with the invisible monkey accordion he always employs with his hands when he's talking?

Bizarre man.

You obviously don't understand how government, at least in the US, works. Those I'm referring to in my previous comment are the actual lawmakers of the country. They consist of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. They have ultimate control over creating new laws because even if both houses of Congress vote for a new law, and if the President vetoes it, they can override his veto. There are exceptions of course because the President can, and has, enacted Executive Orders to get things done.

"Second, They certainly are not and did not attempt
the way the Orange orangutan is doing by slowly dismantling democracy as we know it."

Please explain how one "dismantles democracy". Are you saying that Orange man is trying to do away with the way that local, state and federal officials are voted into office? Are you aware that, right now, the Electoral College is being threatened by Democrats that want voting power to lie solely with the largely left leaning metropolitan populaces around the country?

"Like just lately in Portland with unbadged federal police and unmarked vehicles apprehending and beating protesters
and threatening to do the same in other cities, Chicago, New York? He even said himself he is the ultimate authority and the chief of police for the entire country. I loved the mayor of Portlands remark to trump to get his authoritarion

Is Orange Man responsible for the nearly two months of riots that are called protests? Is Orange Man responsible for why the protests are happening to begin with? Did the perception of police brutality begin on January 20th, 2017? Are you aware that if Federal property is attacked in any way it is the duty of the Federal government to defend it's property? The idea that Federal agents are sweeping Portland as Gestapo is ludicrous as is the idea that Orange Man is responsible for the "turmoil".

What does Hillary Clinton have to do with this?

Joe Biden is responsible for much of what is going on, if you want to believe it is solely about protesting police brutality and unfair incarceration of blacks in America.

The following is from Slate.com with three of the major laws written and/or sponsored by Biden.
  • Comprehensive Control Act: This 1984 law, spearheaded by Biden and Sen. Strom Thurmond (R-SC), expanded federal drug trafficking penalties and civil asset forfeiture, which allows police to seize and absorb someone’s property — whether cash, cars, guns, or something else — without proving the person is guilty of a crime.
  • Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986: This law, sponsored and partly written by Biden, ratcheted up penalties for drug crimes. It also created a big sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine; even though the drugs are pharmacologically similar, the law made it so someone would need to possess 100 times the amount of powder cocaine to be eligible for the same mandatory minimum sentence for crack. Since crack is more commonly used by black Americans, this sentencing disparity helped fuel big racial disparities in incarceration.
  • Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1988: This law, co-sponsored by Biden, increased prison sentences for drug possession (yes, including marijuana), enhanced penalties for transporting drugs, and established the Office of National Drug Control Policy, which coordinates and leads federal anti-drug efforts.
I could go on as there is a lot to chew on with regards to Biden and his ilk. Now please tell me how Orange Man is responsible for the turmoil in Portland with only 3.5 years in office. Did he say something that hurt someone's feelings again? Or did he actually do something that is intended to restore order in a city that has done nothing for nearly two months, lost 23 million dollars for small businesses in the downtown district and turned a wonderful city into a warzone? Now ask yourself, would you be blaming Trudeau if he were in office after the Robert Dziekański incident or would you blame city and Provincial officials, the ones responsible for keeping us safe?

He'll definitely win. I mean, he's so smart. I hear he aced an intelligence test he found on facebook recently.
And he only had to ask Ivanka for help on 20 of the 30 questions. He is a real genius too, if you ask me. Back in the old days people would be referred to him as a Wisenheimer. That would be a title given only to the most intelligent know it all in the entire room.

Like that is an "inject yourself with clorox and shove a UV light up your ass" level of intelligence. The brilliance of Trump is underestimated.
