Have not province

I remember this guy's name was mentioned in a public warning issued by the Abbotsford RCMP a couple of months ago. I thought it would only be a matter of time, but not in a public place and time like when the Bacon brother was executed.

I'd hate to be the people parked beside his truck just going to see a movie or having a late dinner. The bullet holes in the truck window showed the gunman had good aim, but still, wrong time and location.

Not for the gunman...much easier to disappear in a crowd then an empty parking lot.

Good riddance. Unfortunately there will be many more looking to take his place...

Except for one or more shots that smashed the window at the far left of the Theatre.
Two different times of reporting showed the window smashed and later in the day or
rather the next day when it was reported by Global (that's the news I saw it on), the
window had been plywooded over.

Also what I found interesting is how there was 4 holes going through the drivers
side window but yet when the camera was showing the passenger side there were
no holes going through that window and yet there were a string of 5 pylons
with evidence or sample bags hung on them for picking up later whatever those
pylons were covering up. Makes me shudder to think what that might have been.

I heard about this guy being mentioned as a danger to the public so my question
is, why was this turd left to roam around and not be picked up?
Looks like the gunman saved us all from any future victims or problems
and just shows how inept the police force really can be.

Yah right, the police warn us about this guy but don't have a clue as how
to find him to get him off the streets? Pisses me off to no end.

The Police and Gangs have a tacit understanding - Gangs leave regular folks alone and keep the gang war bullshit to themselves, and the police will give them some breathing room.

This sort of "collusion" between law enforcement and criminal elements has existed since time immemorial - The average criminal has no quarrel with the general public, and cops don't want to destroy the equilibrium.

Almost all police sting operations or targeted attacks against criminal elements emerge from the sort of violence where regular folks are affected.

Exactly, what nightswhisper said...

The police know who and where most gang member live and/or operate. But they just standby and let them kill themselves off instead of repeatedly arrest them and see all the system just let them go.

But if a 12 year old girl got caught in the cross-fire, all the police needs to do is go down the list and pluck out the "leaders" and disrupt their activity long enough to affect their bottom line. Heads will roll, people will be sent to jail, gangs will flip on each other for better deals to stay out of prison (but will wind up running for a long time, or get killed themselves).

I understand what you're saying nightswhisper, but in the mean time the cops sit on their ass
waiting for an innocent bystander to get their brains blown out by a stray bullet cuz they don't
want to interfere with the gangs? Something wrong with that picture no matter how
you perceive the "peace" between law and enforcement and gangs.

The other reason could be that the cops don't wanna stir up a hornets nest and get
involved in a fullscale shootout with criminals. I still think the cops have the upper hand
in something like that and could easily clean the streets of these lowlifes who have no
regard for life other than their own dirty side of the street.

They also know these lowlifes are in possession of illegal firearms, Surely they know
where these turds reside and can just bust in their residence to seize these things.
"On a side note to corroborate this the Liberals are planning to ban all handguns"

So if that happens are they just gonna knock on the doors of thousands of
owners of LEGAL registered firearms and ask them to hand them over but
not take away those illegal ones these street turds can flaunt around to
their buddies at will? Makes me puke thinking about it.

Oh Yeah............. that's justice for yah! :tsk::tsk:

The illegal firearms, usually, kill other illegal firearm Owners who are likely to possess firearms for dubious reasons.

Sadly this will never change. The status quo between police and the gang members will always remain at a tacit peace. The police don't want to risk their own officers and, so long as no innocent bystanders are harmed in gangwar crossfire, everything will be just fine.

Your first sentence I completely agree with. But still once in awhile they inflict death or injury upon
innocent bystanders as we all know has happened from time to time. Also, last I checked
anyone who discharges a firearm within any city limits is in breach of firearm laws.
Discharging a firearm within city limits is completely illegal. If a phone call was made
let's say, that my neighbour or even myself was shooting at random at a racoon or something
crossing my backyard the local Swat team would not be politely knocking on my door.

Looks like the way our laws are structured there are no deterrents in place for gang
violence and their possession of illegal firearms. Looks like that old War on drugs
back in the states when Ronald Reagan was prez really proved out that you can't
win that war and just let the drug gangs roam at will. Sad indeed eh?

This in itself with the gang related drug and gang war activities sends a message that
as long as you are involved in this type of behaviour it is okay to possess illegal firearms,
and go and shoot them off at shopping malls out side a theater.
The cops won't bother you unless you shoot an innocent bystander. What a joke.

Hmm, maybe a concealed carry .357 or .40 S&W isn't such a bad idea after all
since other folks seem to get away with it even when they have shootouts in
shopping malls at theaters. Looks like the cops certainly won't bother anyone
if they are just carrying it.

Seriously I wouldn't even think of doing that but you get my point I'm sure.

There’s nothing anybody can do about it, is the point.
