A man allegedly makes a rude comment about a young woman on Paris street. She says something in response. He first hurls and ashtray towards her and then walks up to her and slaps her hard.

Men like him makes me feel ashamed of my masculinity. Although the guy seems to be a low life bum, but that does not make it right.

I am surprised the people who came to talk to him afterwards did not punch him to death.

I thought it's a world of equality now with women wanting to be more equal. How is that any different than a man getting slapped by another man. I would say that girl should punch him back for his slap and get him a taste of her femininity. lol

I tried to read it two three times, but first part of your post doesn't make sense to me. So a man slapping a woman is not different from a man slapping a man or a woman slapping a woman in your opinion?
When it comes to equality, it is equality of rights, equality of law, equality in terms of treatment. It DOES NOT mean being slapped by a nut case in broad day light!!

Yea, I can't agree more on the second part. Having said that, sadly, nature did not make women as strong as men and much less aggressive when it comes to physical confrontation.
But the point is not if she should or shouldn't have hit back, the point is it just shouldn't happen. I read more about it and they say the guy has some mental issues, so that explains it.

I agree with you. It should not happen, not because it's a guy slapping a woman, because a stronger person shouldn't pick on/bully a weaker person. As you said, generally speaking, women are not built to be as strong as man. That is why this shouldn't happen. For the argument's sake, let's replace her with a smaller frame young male adult. Then, you wouldn't be as angry, which is exactly my point. For the record, I'm against all bullies and women beaters.

I'm salty about some feminists, because they are selective feminists. They fucking cherry pick all the good shit and want the world to lower the standards for them instead of earning it themselves.

The feminists you speak of probably represent approximately 0.5% of all women. I know lots and lots and lots of women and not a single one wants lower standards for anything they’ve achieved. Not sure why conversations about genders always has to refer to the extremes within each sex. I could easily point you toward the 0.5% of gross wife beating dudes because they also exist. Let’s keep the conversation directed at the 99% of people in both sexes who are good hard working folks. Leave the extremes out.

From what is shown on the video the harasser is 100% douchebag and should have been curbstomped.

In the US this would have been posted on twitter, instagram and reddit. His home address and details would be out. His employer would make a statement and wash their hands of him.

He is lucky he got away with that.
Bet it's not the first time? Seemed pretty casual about it.

Fourth Wave Feminism is extremely pervasive and far larger than 0.5%. Quantitative feminists and quantitative discrimination (AKA Affirmative Action) are pervasive trends in society, and ones that are worrisome.
