Energy Drinks

So this afternoon, I was dragging and the coffee machine was out of beans. The office area has Red Bulls they sell (part of a fund) so I had the first one in awhile. Ugh... Too sweet, not much of a kick like I'd expect, and the crash a few hrs later was much worse than I experience with coffee.

I never drank LOADS of energy drinks in the past but definitely won't be drinking them anymore. The last time I had red bulls were before seeing SPs (on 2 separate occasions) tthen finding that I couldn't cum for 40+ minutes of pretty intense sex. Maybe some think "hey, awesome!" but for me, it wasn't so great; I'd rather have the experience that comes naturally (and, I find, more intensely).

Anyone else still drink Red Bull and the like or experience what I'm experiencing where you find your tastes, maybe even your whole body, rejecting the stuff that used to be a regular part of your diet? I've found, over time, I've drifted more & more away from sugary drinks. Typically just have coffee (I'm addicted), water, and tea. Similar to the energy drinks, I used to have 1-2 cans of Coke a day, now I can barely finish one can (and only when its the only option at a gathering).

I don't drink pop or coffee but keep a 5 hour energy in my vehicle in case i get drowsy on a long haul. No crash with it the few times i've tried.

RockStar Cracked Sugar Free, maybe two or three a week.
The only energy drink that tastes good, and no calories. Good for keto diets.
Lasts for hours.
Four cans for $7 at 7-Eleven.

I was hooked on Starbucks but that was too expensive. I was going daily for a six dollar drink and a two dollar cookie.
What an idiot eh!

Energy drinks and alcohol is a bad combination, please don't.

Have you had Coca-Cola in Mexico? It's delicious! Canadian Coca-Cola tastes like slime by comparison.

Yes! Lived in SoCal and you could buy Coke from Mexico. Made with real sugar, not corn syrup. The difference was palpable. They were the only Cokes I could finish at my age; I can only drink 6oz of the US/Canada versions at one time!

I like your routine, Miss Hunter! Afternoon espressos are a nice, small, tasty umph when the day starts to drag. The best coffee I've had was in SE Asia: the sweet condensed milk added flavour and body that was irresistible!

I am trying to stick to water/tea lately because I was overdoing coffee and lattes. Like 5-6 cups a day.

Redbull and it's variants taste so vile I never got into it.

I used to drink energy drinks when I was working as a dancer in the clubs. A gentlemen's club in Calgary had a couple of two-story high poles that went from the bottom floor all the way up to the ceiling of the second level of the bar. I remember chugging cherry-flavored TAB (it was a pink energy drink marketed towards women) before hitting that stage, and climbing those huge poles. I would always sugar crash afterwards.

I can't imagine doing that now. I never drink sugary drinks. I agree with Miss Hunter--the ingredients are horrifying. And nobody, anywhere, should ever drink anything that's fuchsia-colored. Eww.

If I want to put something sweet in my mouth, I call a friend...

Without a safety harness, I imagine?!

I never said they were good for you......Yaeger and Red Bull will keep you going till 3 am.....and make you sorry the next day till supper time.
What a cowboy will do for a heart shaped ass in a pair of Cruel Girl jeans is pathetic.

I have never tasted an energy drink. I find it curious that none of the advertising for Red Bull I have ever seen has mentioned its flavour.

Red Bull is awful, particularly their 'flavored' ones - Cranberry, Tangerine, Lime, etc.
Do I drink them? Yes.
I find it helps with those late-night beer league hockey games.
11:15pm faceoffs on a weeknight!
But do they REALLY help? I highly doubt it. I think it's all in head of the user.
