Always amazed when a female teacher goes this route. Cheats on her husband with a kid? It makes no sense. Could get laid a 100 different places and not ruin her career or go to jail. Why? Is it a need to recapture youth or a subconscious self destructive motive?

I don't say it's right but I believe that courts would be more severe on male teachers having sex with students than on female teachers.

do not know either person involved in this court case but it could be possible that the student was angry at the teacher for whatever reason and decided to claim sexual assult . As a matter of procedure. The school board may have to take the complaint seriously . I remember when I was doing some work looking up historical information for a youth correctional facility . I had no contact with the inmates. I was just going to the Manitoba archives and giving them info . they called the inmates . Clients but they had a rule that a staff member was not allowed to be alone with a client . As it was quite common for the clients To claim sexual assault . Every adult in that facility was scared shitless of being charged with sexual assult . The juvenile delinquents knew it and took full advantage of the situation to try to toy with the staff.

comment if she did in fact do something that was considered a sexual assault . You have no idea what she did Other than that sex organs may have been involved for example If she decided to kick him in the testicles or if she was his science teacher and used a Bunsen burner on the students testicles . or tried to use metal sheers to remove his testicles. or shoved a hot metal rod up his ass . etc That also would be considered sexual assault . I think most men would not be into those things . no matter how good looking the teacher was.

I always had crushes on my hot teachers....and if I was lucky enough to have sex with one of them I can't imagine being damaged in any way, shape or form by it.....probably would have gotten me out of my shell sooner if anything...to be completely politically incorrect. With male teachers it's just not the same thing.

As with male abusers, it's a desire to effect power over an individual in an already inequal power dynamic, plain & simple. The taboo nature of the forbidden relationship makes it addicting. It's thrill seeking behaviour.

Yes the teacher does know the rules.and so do the students

A 14 yr old or old boy can be very sexual aggressive. ..considering what hormone and emotional changes he us going though..And you never know who instigated it...because off course the boy is not guilty , he is the victim.

When the teacher could just as easily be the victim because of her emotional state, her sexual Inmaturity .Og course she should know better and the position of power and athority plays a big part..

But like a said an agressive teen can manipulat a woman just as a man by saying the right things or even by threats

Lately I have knotice how young teens play this Sex came already at 12 and 13 and some even before..Boys are all ready tring to have Sex with girl at that age..And play any number of he games that adults play .. From flurting, teasing, bulling , threatening and loving girls..And it often works to get there way with some one..

Girls are guilty of the same ..human nature is quite a thing to watch.

Did the article say the victim filed the complaint? I didn't see that mentioned. There have been a number of cases where the complaint is filed by someone else. e.g. The kid brags to his friends and word gets around, he shares a photo and it falls into disapproving hands, or parents find texts between them, etc. Not to say that teen boys can't be traumatized by this and file a complaint themselves, but I wouldn't just assume it because there are a variety of ways these things get discovered based on what I've seen of other stories like this.

This reminds me of SNL's skits, they've done two based on very attractive teachers and male students poking fun at the double standard and variances of such situations. . I must say that it's absolutely shocking this is happening and definitely a huge fantasy for most guys. The US seems to have a lot of cases of this!

It is natural for a young boy/man to have the desire to have a positive sexual experience and relationship with someone who is attractive and interesting and who knows what they are doing.

Emphasis on the word "positive".

A positive experience and relationship with a teacher is unlikely, because of the power/authority relationship and the fact that a teacher who lets themselves get involved in such a relationship has some real problems with boundaries.

There are a couple of teachers in my past who 1) I was really attracted to when quite young, and 2) who I became friends with when I became older. I am sure that they would have treated me very well if we had entered into a sexual relationship early on, just as I am sure there was no way in hell that they would have been so selfish as to enter into that early relationship.

You guys are assuming that she actually did it, and was not just accused of doing it. I wouldn't put it past some kid to just make something like this up for shits and giggles.
