I generally do not even look at the lounge area. I'm not very good with forums, and find reading/commenting on posts take a massive amount of time- it's why I'm so behind on my review reading I'm still reading review from Dec. 2015 lol. But I feel I should chime in here since, being someone relatively new at this, I am probably counting towards the "very few post" population.
First of all, this debate is very old, not always in the same context, it could be downloads, charity, volunteerism...it could be anything. There's always going to be takers, givers, and for the most part, those who are somewhere in between.
I use Wikipedia every day for research, but do I ever give anything back? No, cause I don't even know how to, nor do I have the tech-skill or time to mess with it.
Maybe those who post very little, some any way, are like me, who can only afford to venture out once every 2, 3? month. What that may translate into is, for the times we can afford to venture out, we are very very scared. Scared of wasting our hard earned, hard squirreled away fund, and scared of trying new things. So for those who blame us who do not TOFTT, sorry, a lot of us don't have the ability to gamble away $200+ just on the off chance that it'd make you feel better about us.
As you can tell by my reviews, they're all women whom have had good reviews already here. Does that make my experiences invalid? unnecessary? well you be the judge- I'm not writing them for someone to give me a pat on the back, or for any gain- I simply write them in hope that one more review will help out the wonderful woman whom shared my bed for two hours, or direct some poor sod of a newbie like myself to a good SP.
Lastly, one of my first reviews, the one for Monica Massage, someone came out and out accused me of shilling- even claiming that I'm a woman in disguise. That pissed me off so much I almost said 'f this sh*t, not going to post again.'
In every society there are takers, givers, and those in between. Everyone of us is a living, unique person with a set of reasons why we do or don't. If you enjoy giving, then give, if you don't, then don't, but very little can be achieved by getting annoyed at those who do not contribute in the same way, same quantity, or in the manners you think they should contribute.
Rant over, back to drooling over reviews.
