Not that I'm aware of. David Goyer is one of the credited writers and Zack Snyder is directing again.
Oh, it was the Batman solo movie that I'm thinking of. BAffleck is gonna write it with Geoff Johns apparently:

Now it all makes sense why completing my full Brave and the Bold comics run has gotten so expensive for the Suicide Squad issues- damn! I'm out of the loop with the upcoming films. I thought it was just the JLA movie that was driving up pricing. Next will be the Teen Titans no doubt.
Get those "first appearance" issues while you still can my fellow geeks!
The Suicide Squad is also in the Arrow TV show.
It looks like DC is winning the TV war in that respect. Although Daredevil gave Marvel a big push.

You'd be surprise how many ladies are into comics. There was also an SP who was very into them as well.

already, I much prefer Christopher Nolans aesthetic and mood over Znyder's,
but I will reserve further comments until the movie is out.
one thing though… what's with the glowing eyes on Batman? …looks so cheesy.
and his face mask seem to be on the chunkier side. horrible details imo.

Anyone know who sang that song? I know it's "I Started a Joke", but the trailer version kills. All my searches point back to the trailer and Comic Con references. Found someone named Susie on iTunes, but I don't "apple" so I'm not sure if it's the one I'm looking for. There is a reference to Harley Quinn singing it in the movie, but any searches for Margot Robbie didn't turn anything up. tia
I'm pretty sure Cherry Soda in Vic is a comics nerd too. And most of the Alt/Goth chicks I've seen like the graphic novels as well.

But I agree- when I mention these other hobbies to the ladies I get a lot of "WTF- really- how old ARE you???" Then when I tell them the values of certain vintage high grade book and cards they are "Holy Fuck! No Way!"
If you collect with the proper strategy you can make a tidy retirement profit.
It also keeps me young.
But- gaming, role play, DD, Warcraft etc.- not a fucking chance! That's a hobby for the basement dwellers!
I was never a fan of Ben Affleck being named Batman but I have to admit I was more excited from the Batman Vs Superman trailer than the Justice League trailer.
The Batman Vs Superman trailer seems to right from the Return of the Dark Knight comic but with minor changes. Suicide Squad I am still not sold on, the cast seems meh. I don't really like the girl playing Harley Quinn in the trailer, she doesn't seem as psychotic as I'm use to seeing Harley.
But then again it's a movie for the masses and not everyone knows knows a lot about the DC and Marvel Universes.
One movie I'm not looking forward to is Civil War. I loved the comics and I can't see hoe they're gonna cram 96 comics into a 3 hour movie.

Although I wasn't thrilled by Ben Afflick being the new batman, the trailer looks good. The movie does seem to be from the Return of the Dark Knight comic, which is still my favourite comic ever. I think of that more of a novel than a comic, because the story is so good. For that reason alone I'm looking forward to this movie.
