Condom not in wrapper - is there a concern?

I am curious about SPs that provide condoms that are not in a wrapper. Should we be paranoid or are they just saving time by removing it from the wrapper before the session?

One time it was a single red condom from a box - so I was thinking (after the fact) that she was working during that time of the month.

Be curious to hear from the SPs? I read the threads how they typically won't use a condom supplied by the client. What's the etiquette of asking for a condom out of a wrapper?

thanks

I don't understand why an SP would pre-rip the condom wrapper. Is it really that big a time hindrance? Really?? What is the benefit here?

That does seem super odd... I keep a facecloth with the condoms so I can wipe hands of oil/lube if necessary (Don't worry I only use non latex so oil is fine)... Also... Red condom won't mean period sex... You'd KNOW if she had her period in session ;)

I'd be concerned... If there was a need to have them pre opened, I'd like to see them packaged and then pre opened before we start

Consensus seems that that is odd - so what are they doing.... reusing? I guess the lesson learned is to ask for a new condom.

Also I've also had one SP squirt some kind of fluid in there..... she seemed nice enough so I didn't get paranoid.

thanks all

The fluid is likely lube, so that it feels more natural for you. I wouldn't worry about that at all.

As for the red coloured condom, it was probably a favoured condom, or came in a variety pack she purchased. A red tint is not going to hide blood, it would have just been what she had on hand.

Tearing the edge as Melody does makes sense, but having an open condom is really not a good idea due to how delicate they are. The most likely scenario is that she does it as a time saving measure. The other possibility is that she got one out and ready for somebody (earlier that day, earlier that week ) who then decided they didn't want a service which required being covered, and she just kept it to use for later. So lets focus on option 1 being the reason ;-)

I highly doubt they are re-using them.
Its possible that she doesn't want to stop mid-session and fuss with a wrapper. I have, upon occasion, opened and tucked a condom under a pillow right before a client arrives so that the pace and mood of the session isn't hampered by the opening of said condom. I can slip it on with my mouth and generally not interrupt the "flow"of things I have received many thank you's for this and never considered that a client might be concerned about the condom being tampered with. However, if the situation was reversed I could see myself being made nervous by that. I would never leave a condom unwrapped for more than 20 minutes and obviously would throw it out if not used.
So there is your possibility #3

Good question

Ask the provider why she does it! I am curious too.

Lube is important, for pleasure and if things get too dry the friction can make the condom break. So lube helps keep things low-friction and reduces the chances of the condom breaking.
