2 albums...one hit song...and last heard the singer was on Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab show for substance abuse...

I love these threads since it brings out some musical gems but alas the "one hit wonder" syndrome didn't propel them any further.
The one that sticks out in my mind is from the 70's. Great song and it is still played on *cough cough" classic rock stations; I even heard it on 101 the other day.

1994 these guys came out with the Chinese Album...1 hit song...and then disappeared back into space...
a song n '86 that was played on a regular basis on MTV (you know when music stations actually played music videos)!
Actually, In The Meantime was on the album Resident Alien (I know because I've still got the CD), which I believe came out in 96 (at least that's the year I remember that video being on Much all the time), and the Chinese Album was their next album, so it couldn't have come out in 94.
Does it even count as a one hit wonder when the only hit is a cover of a song from the 20s? I mean, I guess it does count, but somehow it seems like that should be its own category of one hit wonder separate from the ones that at least had original songs.
