I didn't think the 4th season was outright terrible but definitely the weakest for sure. This season has been much better but watching tonight's episode, I can see why they are writing Donald Glover out. He had this vacant look in his eyes and just seemed like he was going through the motions. He seems focused more on his hip hop career now and maybe going through a bit of a personal crisis based on some things he has said in the last little bit . Ether way, I think he is tired of the Troy Barnes role. It just seems to have lost a bit of the spark the first 3 seasons had and I think the actors are outgrowing their roles. It will probably fulfill its "6 seasons and a movie" mandate, though.
