those are called associates ..... learn to treat as such , and treat them respectfully and professionally , BUT , don't mistake them as freinds....

I think it's important to be honest with yourself on this subject. If it's really true in your life, it's time to think about how you can change things. It takes time to develop real friends and, as Aleister has pointed out, most of us have only a few special friends, the rest are all acquaintances. That's not a bad thing, it's just important to figure out how to cultivate some real friendships, even if it's going to take some time.
You could argue that dance or art classes or computer courses also cost money. But you need to put yourself in places where people have the same interests as you. And there are plenty of free activities too, if you really want to just enjoy some fun times without a cost. http://www.robsonsquare.com
