I see that Melina has canceled her Winnipeg trip due to our reputation for cancellations. I also saw that a fellow Perbite noted that there was three consecutive cancellations for a touring lady from Montreal this past Saturday.

I have never understood this behavior.

I really like the energy that the touring ladies add to the local scene. I know that me whining about it here isn't going to stop those that partake in this behavior. I just wanted to voice my frustration.

My schedule is brutal and prevents me from indulging as frequently as I would like. I wanted to see Melina, but had many items on the schedule. I did something radical - I did NOT make an appointment that had a high probability of cancellation!

I think the regular posters here are not the problem. If you are one of the canceling protagonists, stop yanking these ladies chains. Maybe then they will keep yanking ours...

I see both sides of this. A SP like Melina advertised almost 1 1/2 in advance. They would like pre bookings but it can be kind of difficult to predict your schedule 6-8 weeks in advance. I booked with a lady in Brandon almost 2 months before her planned trip and realized a full month before her trip that it would not work with my schedule. She wrote back to let me know I was blacklisted for a cancellation...I don't hobby much in WPG but it seems there is a long list of traveling SP who are making the trip on a regular basis so one would assume they are finding enough clients to make it worth their whil;e

That sucks, Melina not coming and all those cancellations. If Sexy Melina has a better gig going in Cowtown, more power to her. Manuella and Chrystal were talking about the cancellation problem too. Here, and Edmonton, seem to be bad.

Ladies who persevere seem to come out all right in the long run, building up a reliable regular clientele they can count on. Roksi is a great case in point.

And Peyton said she would return, enjoyed her first visit last week.

I can't see why you were penalized for giving her a full month's notice, rather than little notice or pulling a no-show. It seems both unreasonable and unfair.

What you might want to try next time is only cumming (sp) for a couple of days and only booking appt's with guys who can provide a reference from SP's you know or trust.

For example if Jethro wants to book and let's say someone you trust like VJ or Miss Melody says "Ya, he's cool." Then you book him.
If Jethro's reference is an SP you don't know or trust, then you pass for this visit.
That way I'm sure you could book enough guys to make a 2-3 day visit worth your while. Then you'd establish a following you could build on your next few visits and hopefully weed out the ass holes who ruin it for the legitimate pooner who'd love to "tap that ass."

Jethro makes a valid suggestion. I have to think that some of this cancellation business is partly from the "minor league" local competition, and partly from idiots who can't make up their mind. Some of the "canceling protagonists" (to quote trebrep) need to give their head a shake before booking appointments. I mean the selection of travelling ladies has been pretty good lately, and it would be nice if it stayed that way. I think the reference idea is a good one and would eliminate some of this immediately.

I would add that using perb (like VJ suggests) and verifying through PM, is just as good a research tool for SP's as it is for pooners. Just sayin. I think alot of regular posters, and even some not so active posters like myself, can smell the bs posts a mile away. I think a travelling or local SP could use perb much the same way.

yeah i've read about that here a couple of months ago. a perb member was asking for advice on who to see between these two hot babes. he booked two girls for the same schedule and weighing in from advices on who to actually see. He got hammered here on perb for doing that and he was actually defending himself saying the girls are Ok for the cancellations as long as it's a few days before.. He didn't win the debate..

Actually my first trip was FULL of no shows, some of thei email handles connected directly to Perb. You know only one came through, and he has since repeated as have all the guys who booked same-day.
I don't blame Melina for canceling, however I was really looking forward to brining her with me.

One idea, don't use email to start communications with a "perb member", use PMs. I wouldn't put it past the pimpidiots that fakebook up visiting SPs that they would create free gmail, hotmail, etc accounts using perber names. Its not hard to do. But, if you establish with a PM to confirm an email address, you will know that is the right guy. If they email first, get them to PM you to confirm.

I'll never understand the idiots that think no shows or double booking (I remember a thread about a guy who couldn't choose between 3 visiting ladies, so he booked them all and was going to decide who to see day of, what an idiot). I doesn't do you or the lady any good. I really like to anticipate a visit, and get in the proper mindset for that experience (anticipation as foreplay...). And the pimpidiots that try and ruin visitors times, all they do is make a negative environment for everyone, and it certainly doesn't result in more business for their stable. If anything, having a vibrant visiting menu whets the appetite for more.

And when you book based on a perb handle, read some of his posts. It'll give you an idea of who he is, and what he expects. If they are all 1 line shills, well...
