i just read an ad on erslist where the escort gave her website url with random spaces between some of the letters, making it impossible to cut and paste the address without taking some time to delete the spaces

why?

does she not want me to look at her website?

so i didn't go to her website and i passed on her - maybe to my loss, i'll never know will i?

You know you can probably just copy it "as is", spaces and all, stick in the google search box and just click the convenient link from the search results......

From what I understand, some advertising sites are just difficult to navigate. Web addresses don't always come through right. You have to remember that not everyone is computer lit, they're just trying to figure the website out. So, they put in the spaces in an effort to get their ad accepted, even though the copy is kinda messed up...

So called address munging to prevent email harvesting. Once your email address has been picked up by one of these it can cause you a lot of irritation as well. Bijou's approach is a simple solution, of course

Some advertisement sites like Craigslist don't allow to put web address to lead viewers to leave the site.
So often advertisers need to trick the system by actually spelling "." as in "dot" and "www" as in "triple w."
It is not to avoid sperm emails per ce, but to leave the web url without letting the site to know advertisers are suggesting to visit their website.

Oh you would just love Banff in the summer when you're walking down the sidewalk, a bus stops by and 50 Japanesse people stream out and run you over like an avalanche as they're all looking up at the mountains and not where they're going!!
