My experience is the opposite: pooning has helped stabilize the sex life with my SO.
I used to be very much a serial monogamist. Most of my relationships were relatively short-lived, in large part because sex with the same person tended to get boring over time—and the grass just looked juicier on the other side.
But most regular girls, in my experience, want a relationship in return for sex, so I switched from one GF to another (more than 50 times).
Now I get the desire for variety out of my system by pooning about once a week. The main benefits of pooning—apart from the sheer pleasure involved—are that other `civilian` women don`t tempt me nearly as much as before, and that I don`t put unfair sexual pressure on my partner by saddling her with all my needs for frequency and kinkiness.
Plus I often find, a recent pooning episode—or my anticipation of the next—keeps my erotic imagination fired up to the point where even sex with my SO becomes better. Luckily, she`s quite open-minded, and sometimes we go to swinger clubs together.
