It very positionable for HIV test to come up with the wrong results AS I understand the Biology behind the test It is looking for certain markers in the immune system that are off from what is though to be normal . When that shows up on a HIV test then there is a positive result Then they test you with a more sensitive test.
There is one problem with the test any sickness you have or had around the time of the test could give a positive result ,a cold or the flue would do it ..
All so may times they batch test blood samples to save money , That means a number of peoples sample are mixed together and testes at the same time If one is wrong then all the people are notified to get retested .. It has happened once to me it is a bit of a shock when they say you need to do your HIV test again .. The next was negative .
The reality about sex with other s is that we expose our selves to any number of viruses that another person may be carrying but does not have an adverse effect on them , They have an immunity , built up through the years .. and depending how much the virus has changes from the original .. when we are exposed to it we don't have immunity and we get sick.
We can get tested on a regular bases for about 7 different things but there are a few dozen other viruses that we can get from physical contact with others that can cause each of us symptoms of some kind . but if our immune system is healthy we can usually beat them down .
i have a compromised immune system .. , Part because of how yrs of stress has effected it and causing me to develop Fibremiolaga .. which is an auto immune system disorder..and when it flairs up put a constant load on my immune system a and weakens it . So I am aware that i could get false reading on my HIV tests
