So I'm a yank and I currently live in Seattle. I was planning to occasionally come up to BC for companionship when I have some time and money until I can permanently leave america sometime after I finish college. I don't like living in america for many reasons, but one of the reasons is because prostitution is illegal here and the law is really tough on it here. As a result of that, the options for paid companionship are very limited here. And in terms of quality they suck. I thought I would be ok living here and occasionally driving up to Canada, but I don't know if I'm gonna be satisfied doing that because it's still time consuming and expensive to drive up there just for a day. Plus I don't like living somewhere that has an aversion to prostitution. What should I do? I thought about going out to work in OZ or NZ again, but I've done that before, and of course wasn't able to stay out there permanently.

You can get a round trip Clipper ticket to Victoria for $90. It lets you off in the downtown core and you can literally walk 15 minutes to Seduction Unlimited.

I don't know what kind of work you've done in NZ etc, or what your skills are,
but Thailand should be suggested for consideration, being a place that is
basicly legal like Canada re prostitution.
Many foreigners go there & teach English, making around 30K baht/ month,
from what i've read. Some feel that this gets them further in LOS than it
would in the same profession in the USA with a larger salary, due to the
differences in living expenses, such as rent, food, SP's, etc

I am not impatient and lazy, so you are alone on that one. I've been ready to move, the bureaucracy is the problem. The options here are extremely limited. It's more expensive here, the escorts rip guys off all the time (and of course there's no legal recourse against them since it's illegal here anyway), and there's also the risk of being hit in a sting by the cops. Plus the quality from the girls suck down here.Gee let me see...

Thanks for the recommendations everyone. Victoria sounds like a good alternative, because it seems like the clipper would get me there pretty quickly and like the women charge less there since it's a smaller city. That TNA board has girls on there that look legit, because they actually advertise the specific services they offer just like they do on PERB. When craigslist was still going, us escorts would never list what they offered. And if you asked them over the phone, they wouldn't tell you or they'd hang up on you. There does seem to be some worthwhile ladies on the board, although most of them are overweight.
