Great find V to 'da V. This is why I love travelling alone, just get lost in your thoughts as you experience new and foreign things.

Vancouver
being able to share a room, without feeling the need to talk, is another lost mannerism

between her legs
good one VV ,
friends ask me how I can be alone ,
I enjoy much of it now , and am very content with it ,
a bit of loneliness is the price I pay for my freedom.

uh...Edmonton.
I don't follow embedded links typically....but, I will follow the ones posted by those I know or trust. VV's link to the Mayo Clinic's Greek Diet way back when resulted in gaining knowledge I didn't have prior....so it was worthwhile.

I'm glad I followed this one. More people write poetry than read it but that little ditty was artfully composed and performed. And it brought a smile, so thanks. Now I just have to get out and skin whoever I get teamed up with at Victoria golf course for a couple of beer....that would make a delightful day. I'm setting aside my "to do" list for the day.

kindest,

eddie

I've always loved dining alone, especially when traveling.

I liked her sitting on the park bench, knitting, having random convos with passer-bys. Sometimes those little laughs with strangers are priceless.

It's a beautiful video, although I have to say I run against the grain.

I've always believed for the most part that we have the most difficulty being in relationship to another.

We don't know how to be truly intimate with another. How to sacrifice, compromise, allow for another's needs, wants, fantasies.

We deny ourselves and others because of fear, past hurts, unresolved feelings.

So we create our aloneness and make it "ok" - like it's a badge, it's normal, it's proof that you "love yourself".

While we live in denial that we are unable to have a "real" relationship with anyone except ourselves.

This woman in the video is just boring for words...not to mention, no man wants to see her naked...

She is probably a government employee with 8 more years until she gets her pension for life...
