It's unbelievable how these nuckies can be inconsistent against one of the worst teams in the NHL, at home. Isn't this Luo's 4th time he's been pulled this year alone?

And he's lucky too, 4 goal posts saved further embarrassment; yup, we should be in great playoff shape becuz of his gold medal ;). On the first goal, he looked the wrong way hahaha

Great minds think alike! To be honest, our nucks have played well recently but sure hasn't been bc of Bobby Lou. He sure hasn't stolen games as he's done in the past. Even tonite, Roloson was just solid, not flashy. Felt that Lou shldnt covered the rebound better before Tavares whacked it in behind the net!

Then that killer 4-2 goal, 8 seconds after Burrows scored a nice one. Where was his butterfly? Just expect more mental lapses fr Louie down the stretch & playoffs. He hasn't played stellar all season nor did anything in the Olympics either.

Luongo sucked, the defense sucked, the refs sucked.........
It's embarassing, but we've always lost to crap teams. The last time the NYI won on the road was Jan. 9th........... Oh the pain...

Roly played well, Lu didn't, passive outing by the Dmen,
can't win them all u know…so just relax all u fairweather Nux fans.

they'll put this one behind them and bounce back on Thu vs Sharks.

oh, and that OV shove on Campbell…why everyone is making a big deal out of it
I will never know. Campbell needs to get stronger, PERIOD!

Lou goes down way too quick and leaves the top part of the net open all the time. Shoot high and though shall be rewarded. Too many soft goals.

Lou is paid like the best goalie in the league, he should be able to perform like it. Not saying the team wasn't at fault, but at least steal a game from possibly the worst team in the league...
I don't think Lou has ever been the same after the groin injury and the birth of his child. At least we still have C.Schneider in the wings.

I've been saying that for years. He relies totally on his huge frame. The easiest way to score on him is to just pass off or go around him, because he always commits so early and is on his knees faster than junkie at Hasting and Main.

Is there any, so-called superstar goalie that gets chased as often as Luongo?

Interesting to see luongos reaction when he's forced to wear smaller equiptment. Awhile back he made comments about being afraid of injuries and he'd retire from hockey if he's ever had to wear smaller size equiptment. Seriously i just dont see him giving up 20 mill + in income if he's forced to wear smaller equiptment

That's not accurate. He said he would retire if they make the nets larger.

I think thats the scouting report on him now. I've noticed alot of teams trying to pick the glove side top corner

I would take tired Luongo over Schneider any day

So Lou has his good days and his bad days, we all do, but have the Canucks invested too much in him, and I don't mean money. The Province made an interesting point today, is
he too much the center piece of any hopes for the Stanley Cup ?

The Province is a mickey mouse newspaper...

Willes, Botchford, Kuzma and company are pathetic homers...

Tavares stated that when the Province wrote that the Islanders didn't belong on the same ice as the Canucks, it fired them up...

Matt Moulson, who BTW has 26 goals, said he was ticked off when The Province didn't know how to spell his name...

they spelled it Coulson...

like I say, it's a hockey mad city, but when it comes to hockey knowledge Vancouver is a black hole...

some additional random thoughts...

they better hope Luongo is on his game come playoff time, if not this team doesn't stand a hope in hell...

and who would have thunk it, Hubba actually in agreement with BJHunter...

I knew Hubba would finally come to his senses:D...

early prognostication...

Blackhawks don't go beyond the second round and could very well be knocked out in the first round...

that's what I've been saying all along. Look it at all the other teams ahead of us, they don't need a $7 mil goalie, just consistent good goaltending. What they have which we don't is defence; sure, we've been injured but just shows that it's preferable to hv our $ spread over a better defensive depth than to put everything in Bobby Lou bc obviously this season, he hasn't.

It's by far his worst season as a Canuck; been pulled 7 times this year!! Take away those big pads et al, I honestly think he's over rated but alas in this hockey delusional market, I still shake my head over The BW&CH's lust for him.

The only saving grace is he should play better from now on haha

Ya i'd like to see them with a 3-4 mill goalie and a couple more decent defenseman. How many more yrs are we stuck with Lui?
