World Cup football 2022. Canada?

Anybody willing to bet if Canada will make it to Qatar next November 2022? Is anyone here going to watch the Mexico Canada game tonight Nov. 16th in Edmonton?

I will just say will be in a third place finish in the CONCACAF division and will be in the World Cup.

Huge win today vs Mexico but Panama winning their last 2 with come from behind wins makes it still a bit tricky. They will need a bit of help or to win probably at least 3 of their remaining 6. Hoping they can pull it off.

Odds looking better after beating Mexico in Edmonton. If our men's team has finally reached a level of development where they can contend with Mexico and the US, that's a big improvement. Mexico is the most successful CONCACAF power, so beating them at all is a big deal. I saw Canada's team play Mexico at BC place a few years ago, and frankly, the Mexicans cut our team to pieces.

But it is not over yet. Several more games to go, and we can't overlook all these little countries that will be fighting hard for that last spot (the ones that used to usually beat us).
