Where to buy pot?

Hey didn't you guys here about the "cafe" on Commcercial Drive, selling pot and ended up on BCTV news hours? Is that place still operational? Can't remember the name of that place ...

Anyway, I meant to ask if anyone know where to score some pot? I had some scary dude approaching me on Granville St. and being the sweet innocent boy that I am, I'm sure there must be a less intimidating way to buy some.

School is back in this week, Just any any Junior High student you see, they can tell you a dozen places where to score. It never ceases to amaze me how well the war on drugs is going. Can you imagine if it was legalized:

People would have to show ID saying they were more than 18 years old.

Neigborhood grow ops would be history. (one lower mainland green house would put them all out of business in a season)

Police would go back to hasseling SW and MPs. (because its less onerous than real police work)

And best of all, the gunfights would slowdown because there would be no turf wars to protect drug monopolies.

But, what do I know?

Not a lot when comes to Grow ops. rickoshadows unless the greenhouse you metion is about 15 times the size of BC. place dream on.......

Have you seen some of those comercial green houses? Just the economy of scale would put small growers out of business.
How many people grow their own veggies like our parents and grandparents did? You can't grow em for the price you can buy em. Same thing would happen to Mj. Sure some people would grow their own for a while but eventually it would all be produced by a few of comercial entities.

It would also eliminate the criminal element, bring in tax dollars, lower court and incarceration costs for taxpayers, and free up the police to hand out more traffic tickets. Just kidding on the last point...

Problem is the U.S. will never let it happen. How ironic that a significant amount of the wealth accumulated by the Kennedy's, their unofficial royal family (American Camelot anybody?), was a result of bootlegging during prohibition.

That would be an idea. Everyone would be allowed to grow 2 plants in their home or backyard garden. Each only for their personnel use. No selling, no massive grow-ops.

How many places do you need anyway? Under "location" you're listed in the Westend so unless you're a cop, the two locations provided should be sufficient enough for you to score if that's really what you're looking for.
