What is going on with chat???????

As much as I do not like the new format (as well as many others) I have been going in and trying to get used to it. Was in a few minutes ago in fact. Left to make a call and came back to see a new icon to get in (a little pink box. Clicked on that to get back after my call and got the floolwing error message

It seemed to work fine before. Why the need to change something that was working???

Silly me...I always thought the expression was, "if it ain't broke...DON'T fix (???) it"

bring back the old chat format

have to agree with BS Detector that the new chat format really sucks. why change a good thing, who's dumbass idea was it anyways? i noticed that a lot of regular perb members are not on anymore it's now just chat and not national chat. read the reviews and you'll noticed that a lot of members do not like this new format. this is just a butt's opinion which i know nobody gives a fuck about it and it's only going to be swept under some pile of shit. just hope someone with a some fucking common sense would correct what was so fucked up.

for guys.....i miss the profiles......you can't tell if they are male or females that we are talking too just by these names.

Also...have you noticed that it's very hard to answer questions or try to get a question or statement in because there are so many people typing at once!!!

that too...I still don't see some of the regulars that were on before..

It was much nicer when it was a small group of us perb types with the occasional visit from a lady like Dani of Toronto who came in to chat with us. I'm sure the Terb and Merb people feel the same way. We have more local stuff to talk about in Western Canada just like they do in their respective regions. And like you guys said, it was easier to actuall have 'conversation' rahter than simply see lines of text fly by so fast that no one was really able to have a conversation.

I miss the chat

Since the new format over a week ago I have tried numerous time to log in to chat with no success. I have reset my password a number of times but I may as well be ramming my head into a brick wall. All logins have failed and I've been in contact with perb administration and they tell me to try this and that and no go. So I haven't been in chat in over a week and I miss it. Anyone who can help I would appreciate any help with this issue. Thanks, PD

yes im sure US in toronto feel the same way...i actually went in yestersday evening for a few minutes...must admit though you "perb" people are a nice bunch...hahahaha and i rarely give compliments...

the new chat is confusing colour wise...but at least we can see whos perb, merb and terb...i guess thats a plus

Hey Sweetie. Please don't take that the wrong was!!! I have nothing against you Toronto folks at all. Just prefer small 'intimate' groups, especially at first. Once I get to know people it is different. I know...How do you GET to know them unless they are there to begin with It's not even that as much as following chat when it is scrolling by at 100 miles an hour. You sound like a nice bunch too !!!

Hi Smother. How goes it buddy? Miss chatting with ya! It changed as soon as that pink button went up. It was fine before when you clicked SP Chat to get in. It was fine when you clicked on National chat to get in (although I lost colours and other settings) but as soon as whatever changes happened when the pink button went up, when I click on that, I get the error message I posted in the first post in this thread.

I am new to the chat so can't really comment on how things were before. I find the present system frustrating because it is slow and jumbles letters. I am not sure how much of this is due to the speed (or lack there of) of my computer and how much is due to the system.

Also, I think that when it gets busy we perberts should make an effort to visit in the western canada room.
