Some of youz fukks, like me may have been hit with the MS Validation BS.
I believe I have found a way around it, other than tediously scrounging through the MS site for the updates to download one at a time as if I was doing a network upgrade.
Sure you can also call or what ever and piss and moan you have slow ass dial up and they will probably send you a CD with all updates, but that to fukkin slow IMO.
So in Tools>Manage add-ons
You'll see a drop down box at the top of the window. Choose "add-ons that have been used by internet explorer"
Then choose Windows Genuine Advantage and disable it.
Now mine goes straight into update.....only problem is I cant 100% test it since I already have all the updates I need at the moment.
