In full disclosure, I have never sought services in a massage parlor of the likes reviewed here. I always felt it was like walking into a seedy adult video store, where you are left to select from used VHS tapes. These stores used to feel really uncomfortable, especially when I ran occasionally ran into one of my porn-shopping neighbors. Are massage parlors much different from this image?

With the advent of the internet and review sites like this, you can usually research and get quality SPs, who are very discreet and safe. While a whole section of PERB is devoted to massage parlors, I just don’t get it! To each his/her own, but would someone enlighten me? Why would you prefer a massage parlor?

Some will, some won’t
Some do, some don’t

They aren’t all the same. As Billiam said, much safer and easier for ladies working ad hoc too. Lots start out there before going indy.

My experience in both is not enough to say I’ve had a lot of experience but too much to say I dabble anymore so I’ll toss in my take.

Of course a bed is way nicer for sex and a discreet apartment is also way less stressful to walk into, but that much is obvious.
For me the what I like about parlours is you get to meet the girl in person before agreeing to anything. Don’t like who’s available? Just ask to see the others, or wait until someone else is free. Or walk to another ( usually in the same area ) . Its pretty hard to bait and switch someone you just met face to face. I’ve read of cases here where that happens but that would be one ballsy mamasan.

Also if you find a MO provider you really like, two visits w her is only $100 more than one w an incall.

And some "reviews" say "not sharing details" or
"keeping details to myself" making the "info" as useful as tits in a teacup.

I have been to a good amount of palours and most of the time they are quick and easy, most of them have a discreet back entrance with parking if you would prefer to not enter from the front. The services are also usually cheaper than a incall I would say if you looking for just a quick release either by hand or fs parlours are not a bad choice, but if you are looking for a more sensual or gfe incall would definetly be the better play. As for services offered most of the time it usually consist of a light massage of course, hand release, bj with condom, fs, and for bbbj its usually a ymmv, iv had some for a extra tip of 40-60, and some where they ask for much more or flat out refuse. To summarize quick and easy release, decently cheap but limited choices go for massage parlour, want more options and a more sensual time with more options on the menu incalls are the way to go.

I get it. I would like as many details as possible before deciding as to not waste my time. And some basic details would be really nice such as like contact info, menu and pricing.

One of the challenges for writing reviews especially the ymmv part is setting up expectations that others may not get. One example, say you have a regular you've seen 10 times or just clicked better with or in that moment you may have received things that were not on the standard menu,. Then write about it and next thing you know someone else thinks they'll get the same. Then when they book the SP and don't get exactly the same they get upset. Or you have a SP who knows your handle asks that you not write certain details. Another instance of ymmv is the Greek/size thing. Some dudes will some will not understand that the SP may not be able to handle their "size" but will still be disappointed as to not get Greek because that's the main reason that SP was chosen.

Now ymmv has always been very subjective. Some people who write reviews want to avoid some details as they don't want the group or SP knowing who the person writing it is.
I generally try to give details that would help the next person when writing reviews or affirm/confirm someone else's reviews. You'll get some reviews who will be detailed and others that will be more lacking in anything reviewed like the dreaded four letter starts with a Y and ends with a P website. If I recall there was a debate years ago on here about having a standard review form so to speak. I know some boards use something like that. One board in the states just want simple basics like stats, contact, yay or nay on reviews. Then want you to message the reviewer for more details as to limit who can readily access info.

If you're worried about services than just go see independents. Its a lot easier. Some parlors have ladies who or do not and if you want to be clear and have the money and not be upsold or anything just see the indie gals.

Or you could do your due diligence and do a lot of homework before going to a place. It's all here really.

So this is exactly my point. In spite of what the OP initially said or my expansion on his point not one poster here has said exactly what we mean. Two questions on the table: while would you chose a parlour over a private? And, do parlours offer FS?
So far no straight answers.

Well I mean the benefit of a parlour is that if you do try it out and find out you like it then it's worth it for return visits. For example I had a few meh times at great pharaoh but recently I've been twice and they were both great visits.

Once you do the research beforehand and try it for yourself, you can find out if it's for you. For example: great pharaoh has a lineup. You can see the ladies. They have a shower. All safe services no fluid exchange, so no kissing of bbbj. Good selection with a wide roster of ladies to choose from.

When it comes to a parlour I've never been to I risk not having the best time so I have to ask a lot of questions on the forum or ask people or do some searching and reading for rates and who's good. But it's really no different from doing research on an indie gal.
